The sushi isn't fancy but it's tasty and there's lots of fish in the rolls. The tempura is really crunchy and big portions. I'd avoid the breaded fried chicken dishes sesame, general tao, etc. The special rolls are all good, especially the green dragon which is loaded with avocado. Service is good and the place is clean.Food: 4/5

I was skeptical due to the appearance inside the restaurant and some of the reviews, but I quickly came to realize that those things didn't matter. The sushi was very good, rolls were tasty and the rice was just a tad bit warm, like it just been cooked recently.. just how I like it. Beef short ribs and tempura were also great. Overall worth it for the price. Staff were also very nice and attentive. As for the appearance It would be nice if they got soft white/yellow lights instead of the very bright white hue ones, I think it would complement the restaurant a bit more and make it more comfortable for dinner since it's probably hard to renovate after being closed inside for covid nearly 2 years

I have to say, post lock down Kanda Sushi is amazing.  I'll try to keep this short.  Me and my GF went here a few weeks ago I know long over due review.  We enjoyed everything about it.  The food was fantastic and as authentic as you're going to get without being in Asia.  The atmosphere was nice and relaxed even with families there.  The staff was friendly and welcoming.  The manager/owner was definitely someone I'd go back just to cat with.  He constantly came to check in is and would stay and chit chat with us.  I was close to offering to buy him a beer and sit with us because we were drinking his favourite Sapporo.  Definitely worth the money and time.  Thank you Kanda Sushi, we will see you again soon. the staff were nice and delivered our food quickly, but the food had no flavour and none of it was fresh see pics. unfortunately not worth anywhere near the $37 + tax they charge for dinner.

I love sushi and I've tried a lot of the places in the GTA - it is crazy that this place doesn't have a higher rating? Firstly, the bento boxes are incredible and such a good deal for a takes out option, which I do now as often as I can especially since the Salmon teriyaki is so good. We finally decided to come to dine in today and were shocked by how good the service was. The staff were near instantaneous in bringing us drinks and were very friendly. The sushi came in a boat with unbelievable presentation. And the pricing was incredibly fair! Great fresh food which some of the rolls being vastly superior quality to others sushi places and with perfect service.  I can't recommend this place enough.

Absolute best sushi in Mississauga, but they have much more than just sushi. Everything on the menu is fresh an amazing. Definitely recommend this place and they have all you can eat not just sushi but the entire menu. You gotta check it out  Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly my son loves to order off of their iPad menu also have Chapstick helpers for the kids if you ask  for them  Parking: Plenty of free parking

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Fresh and has lots of delicious options! Raymond always provides excellent service, you must try their cheese wontons, kalbi ribs, and the rest of the menu

I changed my review due to the disappointing service. They changed buffet prices for lunch from $17 to $26 without even letting us know. Even when I asked, wait isn’t this lunch, they just said “yeah yeah”. Also, there were only 2 tables occupied at the restaurant and I feel like they were doing a very sloppy job making the sushi. It would break before I could pick it up.  I love this place so much! They have so many options but my fav is the tempura chicken sushi roll. Kanda even has chicken fried rice and various other foods. I always make my way here after a long day at UTM. Overall, my favourite sushi place that I would highly recommend to everyone!
