I had to wait about 20 min for a really basic miso soup and a green tea to go. The funny part is that a burrito, poke bowl and 50$ gift card came out before my order even when ordering before... place is very small and is not inviting to eat there. Poor customer service and unqualified staff since they don't speak French and barely speak English in the middle of downtown so interactions are quite difficult... The store priority is making the orders to go instead of the ones from customers actually IN the store. Only 2 persons: 1 cooking, the other taking orders, answering the phone, dispatching, cashing, preparing and measuring quantities by the book for the drinks. Quiet unorganized especially during rush/lunch hour quality is poor for the price. Finally the menu is not the same either in that store, no remen soup as shown in the website and they market products like bubble tea during summer but was not available yet at that time.
Have ordered from here multiple times, and as someone who orders from Sushi Shop quite frequently, I can confidently say that this branch fails to meet the same standards as other Montreal locations. Although the service is friendly, it is not a convenient place to order from if you are not able to place your order in advance. Not to mention the fact that every sushi burrito I've ordered here is basically only filled with tempura I'm assuming for convenience and cost-saving reasons. I really hope things can improve, as it is the most convenient branch for McGill students and shoppers.
8.30 pm already closed. They absolutely love to work as much as I love to walk till there and find it closed. #businessmen
Loved the new sweet passion and Red Ruby, both yummy. Great service
It was $10 for two shrimps and two nigiri a tablespoon of rice with a slice of salmon on top.
Great food, the same quality that any other sushi shops. It's just not really clean, same as other sushi shops.
Honestly, as a college student on a budget, I was really hoping to treat myself to some sushi after a long week. I ordered the salmon avocado rolls from the restaurant's uber eats page, and was very disappointed to receive smoked salmon in my roll. Considering the fact that I spent 30 of my hard earned dollars on this meal I expected at least to receive fresh salmon, not a cheap ingredient I can find at my own supermarket. I feel as though this should have at least been specified in the title of the dish, because now I'm disappointed and dissatisfied.
Been ordering on UberEats from this Sushi Shop a couple of times and every time they forget to put soya sauces with the makis. Tonight, we specifically ordered 2 chicken poke bowl and 1 salmon poke bowl, but got 1 chicken and 2 salmons. Very disappointing...
This place is terrible, the staff is so loud when they talk, the sushi is so tasteless, the worse sushi i have ever eaten in Montreal, the wasabi isnt even spicy.
I order from this Sushi Shop for large orders seasonally. The service is great and the orders are good. The place is minuscule, so I don't know if people can eat on site however. But for take-out, great. I place my orders on the phone a day in advance. Enjoy :
