We went here on Friday for early dinner. To be honest, we were aware of the bad reviews about their service. However, we wanted to give Fondue de Pekin a try and they did not disappoint us. The food: variety of soup/broth flavors at least 8. Ingredients such as meat and veggies are freshly cut so they balance the broth flavor very well. Lots of choices for toppings and dipping sauces. check our pics. Totally recommend the New Zealand Lambs and crown daisy a type of veg. There are non-spicy broths and kid-friendly side dishes. The vibe: Even though It's on a Fri eve, it was not busy. The lady server was really patient and attentive in explaining the menu to us. She even gave us a bigger table in the corner. Size: They only serve single serving pot so for 2, you have to order one for each, although you can also share one. We just feel its too small for our toppings. Will come back with more friends as they have spacious table, fresher ingredients and competitive price compares to Happy Lamb in Chinatown.
The proteins were fresh. Serving quantity was pretty good for the price. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The place is not too noisy or over crowded so enjoyed the friday evening. I will visit them again.
This hotpot place has a good variety, I was in a group of 12 for lunch. Although we didn't have a reservation, there was no waiting time. Sometimes they would forget to bring items that we placed but they would bring it once we reminded them without and hassle so that was fine. Overall a very nice place to have a meal, whether it is for a small or a big group. The chairs are quite comfortable as well.
Great selection of sauces. Beef lacked a bit of flavour but lamb was delicious. Big selection of veggies, seafood and meets. Good hotpot but some of the items on the menu weren't fresh.
The service is slow and we had to get our own spoon for the hotpot?! This place is not cheap for an all you can eat hotpot and you do not get your moneys worth. The food was good but do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.
One of the best hotpots in town. Since knowing this place, I never went back to other hotpot restaurant. It is more authentic compared to other places. Sauces taste better as well. Recommended!!!
1. Meat was super bad 2. Super slow service...waiting for the hotpot like 20+ mins 3. Soup was alright
Diverse, fresh meat and vegetables better than Panda Hotpot but bad health environment. Went twice, got spider and drosophila in my cabbages.
The food is very fresh. Been here twice. Service is nice. Will back again. Winter is hotpot season!
Great food with a lot of variety. They have have a lot of broths and sauces to choose from. The service is quick and efficient.
