Jungle Room

The drinks really were extraordinary and the food was delicious and well done. Still a few kinks to work out as the place is brand new but it is definitely my new neighborhood go to spot. The creativity in the design is phenomenal.

Happy to have a nice place to go on Denman. Nicely decorated however seing the street especially BMO from the lounge feels a bit weird, maybe some curtains or something would be nice to hide Denman street away. The cocktails were good enough. Terrible music and very loud, a suggestion: maybe something more like Jazz / classical music would be nice.

The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. The space itself is beautiful and inviting. I will definitely go back!

Popped in for a bite and a bottle of bubbles. Service, food and drinks from start to finish were all phenomenal. Make sure to try the cauliflower steak! Also, the pastry chef makes such beautiful and tasty desserts. We’ll be back soon!Food: 5/5

Was excited for the opening and stopped by on the way home around 6:30pm. Ordered two Caesars as we had seen on their Instagram but their bartender told me it was dinner service and Caesars aren’t a thing now. Seeing as they’re a cocktail bar i was quite surprised. I get not doing the garnishes but I’m not sure how dinner service affects Clamato and vodka. Would go back if others were desperate but not high on my list to try again.

Okay, so after my visit here today I felt compelled to leave some feedback: Pros: the Ragu was good, our server was sweet and gave good recommendations. The gimlet cocktail and Caesar were good. Ambience was nice. Cons: For a relatively quiet restaurant cocktails took a very long time to come. I am not a picky person about water ever, but the water here tasted like it had just been poured out of a backyard hose. The storm warning cocktail was truly terrible. The americano came out tepid temperature. At the end when we received our bills the pricing for the ragu was $3 more than what the menu said. Unfortunately I noticed after I paid but no apology was offered when I brought it to their attention. Currently although they advertise a brunch menu it is truly just a lunch/dinner menu. This could be due to how new they are. I would consider coming back for a true brunch if/when they launch one. They should also consider putting their menu up online so you know what you are signing up for when you come in.

Really pretty inside. Service was questionable. A waitress took away my food while half the food was still on the plate. I was obviously not done as the plate was still right in front of me. I had to shout at her the bring it back as it was $70 worth of food being taken away. The desserts were very lovely. I might go back for a drink and desserts yet I dunno because my service was anything but good.
