This place is a sure bet for a fun night out.The cocktails were so delicious. The food was also superb. Add to all of this, the amazing service. Shout-out to Chris and Katherine for making the weekend start off perfectly. Give this place a try, you won't regret it.

Was searching online for “happy hour bars near me” and found this gem! It was quiet for a Thursday night - probably because of the rain. Music is at the right volume - high enough for you to vibe to, but also quiet enough for you to have a conversation. The server was really nice. I asked her to recommend a drink for me, she recommended the “Cucumber Mint cocktail”. Unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan - but she offered to get me a new drink at no extra cost. She recommended the Cosmo, and it was a hit! I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Tacos - and they were so huge, juicy and filling. I’ll definitely come back again

Great vibe and great food and drink options. The cocktails are not only delicious, but they are also beautifully presented. They have a great happy hour, and their cauliflower bites are now amongst my favourite. The lighting inside is perfect and it is a great place for a meal or to meet friends for drinks. It is a good spot to go after a show at the QE theatre as well.

Amazing experience. The BEST cocktails I have had. Went for the "By The Fire" and was thrilled with it. The smokey flavour was so good. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was great, overall a fantastic experience. Highly recommend.

Loveee this place! Music - not too loud so you can still have a convo and not shout. They play good music overall Ambience - great vibe, love the design and lighting, not your typical bar/restaurant in Van. Its like a rustic chic look and very spacious. Love the details that when into the design Staff- very friendly, engaging and they definitely keep you laughing Food- as I came mainly for drinks, we got the pickled fries and oh man are those addicting. I higly recommend them Drinks- i can not rave about this enough! They were made to perfection, I had no complaints and they definitely carry unique items which adds in to the overall experience. Bonus - they aren't watered down either 10/10 would recommend going here. It'll be the new hot spot of Van

Second time trying out Ventura room prior to a concert. My husband and I made a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. Everything was fantastic! Every single person working was smiling. We were checked on regularly throughout our entire visit not too much not too little. The food came out fresh and cooked to perfection and the drinks were absolutely delicious. I will come to this restaurant every time we come out to Vancouver for any reason. Thank you so much!

Great space, tasty drinks, and friendly staff. I had a group of 30 here for my birthday. Ventura management I dealt with Emily were so accommodating and the server working this section Hannah was an absolute all-star. Thanks for a great night all :

Staff were attentive. Food menu is very limited, quality okay. The venue is extremely loud and we picked it for the proximity to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre but it was very difficult to have a conversation in the noise so as a place to socialize before or after theatre it's not good.

These folks love their rectangular aluminum trays, you will see them on your table as far as the eye can see. I quite like the space physically, that old school Hollywood vibe. Food wise...meh. Parmesan wings are named for the light sprinkle of parmesan on top. The Guac dip order must have had at least a quarter of an avocado in it. I will say I didn't mind the tacos, generous portion. I did not find the service particularly attentive, but the manager was a really good dude - no I didn't ask to speak to him. Overall I'm not sure what to make of this place, menu needs some work for sure.

Great atmosphere and really solid drink menu. Food is on the lighter side, with sharing in mind, I think. Their house specialty sushi rolls were probably the best food items we had during our visit. The chicken tacos were also very good. Cocktails and live music are the stars here. Whoever setup the sound system obviously had live music in mind. The acoustics are great! Staff are friendly, and the service times are pretty good. It gets a little long on busy nights, but they do their best to check in with the table and let them know wait times are longer than usual. Pricier than a pub, but if you're looking for a cocktail lounge, I don't think you can do better. No cover charge, and complimentary coat check. Easy five stars if you're looking to drink and socialize for a few hours.
