Excellent place for a quick and delicious breakfast. My friend and I recently saw a huge crowd in front of the restaurant and stopped here for breakfast. The restaurant was already full by the time we got there, but we were able to get seated within a few minutes. As soon as we got seated, we ordered the Maine Delight omelette, lobster roll, and the blueberry pie and were impressed by how fast our food came out. Both dishes were light on the seasoning and the portion size of the roll seemed a bit small for its price, but we enjoyed them nonetheless. On the other hand, the warm blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream was a perfection. If you’re looking for a breakfast in a relaxing atmosphere, this may not be the best option, but I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is on a tight schedule. Parking: Street parking available free before 9am
This is a nice breakfast/lunch place. Stays open from 5 am to around 2 pm. Pancakes are great and blueberry muffin is the highly rated item. Got spinach omelette and regular omelette. Portion sizes were great. Enough to fill one up for hours. It all tasted very fresh. The grilled potato side dish was a bit of disappointment, had no flavor and just didn't taste right..but could be just that day ..unsure. other than that everything else was delish. Rye toast and bagels were pretty good. Staff was super friendly and courteous. Loved the whole vibe of the place.
Good old fashioned diner! Fantastic portions and decent quality. We had omelette, Reuben, and breakfast combo with blueberry muffins. Omelette was alright with bit more seasoning and cooking needed for the potatoes. Reuben was crunchy, lightly toasted and packed with flavor, a must get! Really enjoyed the blueberry muffin and pancakes as they were fresh and not overly sweet 10/10! Don’t forget to grab yourself a blueberry soda on the way out
Drawn in by its 4.6 star with over 2,400 reviews, I have mismanaged my expectations slightly. Staff were very friendly with quick service and truly a family owned and operated restaurant vibe. We ordered the Maine Wild Blueberry pancake and blue berry muffin. The plus side was the little sugar they used, which is very different from other chain store muffins/pancakes. But the muffin was dryer than I liked, could really finish half of it, and the pancake was…a little bit bland. Maybe it would be better with their in house blue berry syrup. It was brunch so didn’t try their lunch menu. Overall, it’s a decent place to get breakfast to feel the Maine family vibe, but the pancake and muffin was a bit overly hyped in my humble opinion.
We were in Bar Harbor during the end of October for a short visit and stopped here for breakfast. Food was very good and staff was very friendly. You have to get the pure maple syrup if you get pancakes. Blueberry pancakes were definitely the best I have had anywhere.
Excellent place for breakfast in Bar Harbor. We arrived at 7:30am on a Tuesday morning and the place was packed. We put our names in and were seated fairly quickly. I did notice that it got even more crowded after we arrived with people lining up outside, but the line seemed to move quickly. Service was excellent and the food came quickly. We ordered two meals which we split with each other. One was the blueberry pancakes, which were delicious. We also ordered the lobster omelet with onions and mushrooms. This was by far, super delicious. Portions of both were super generous. No matter how long you have to wait to get in, it’s worth it!
We were bummed about the one hour wait at a touristy place down the road. A local turned us on to Jordan's. He said "that's were the locals go". I'm so glad. We were greeted and seated in a couple minutes of coming in. The vibe is small town diner, charming and warm. Our waitress was super friendly ... the friendliest person we met on our trip. My husband ordered the western omelette. He was very pleased with the portion size and cook on the eggs. It came with a wonderful fresh baked muffin which we took in a go-bag and munched on it the next morning. : I had the blueberry pancakes with blueberry syrup & 2 eggs over easy. They were absolutely delicious. I was so grateful that they weren't overly sweet. I couldn't stop eating them even when I was full. So good. The eggs were unexpectedly cooked to perfection. I'm always nervous about ordering over easy. This is a local home-style restaurant. The food is generous and tasty. The coffee is good. There is no bar. If you want a mimosa walk down the street.
Perfect way to start the day. Quiche-both the broc/cheese and meat/cheese-was piled high and huge. Home fries not over cooked. Omelets were cheat day topped with American. Blueberry muffin is spot on. Good crumb and nice denseness at the base. Eat the butter. The gluten free blueberry muffin slice pictured is so light and very satisfying. Not as much tooth as the wheat cousin. But lovely. Service is literally perfect brunch service. Coffee every time you need it and a real smile.
We loved our waitress. So friendly and funny. Food was great. The blueberry pancake with blueberry syrup was amazing! You have to get it. Prices were double what typical diners usually charge, but still great service and food.
We ate here on the morning of my birthday and it was so good! The blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup were heavenly. Definitely get an order to share at the least. Jordan’s has a comfortable diner feel, attentive service, and delicious food. We’ll be back!
