Fantastic new restaurant! Service was great and the food was even better. One of the owners curated our menu for the night, every dish was beautifully presented and I was very happy that he offered to pick our menu choices for us because I tried dishes that I probably would not of ordered myself, we loved everything that was brought out to us! So don't be afraid to get adventurous - you won't be disappointed.
Checked out Calgary’s , located in Inglewood. getting the , and ! However I was a little disappointed with the Beef carpaccio, a little bit too much soy sauce and not enough lemon/lime taste. But overall I still really enjoyed our dinner. The service and atmosphere of this restaurant was wonderful.
Good place for shareable dishes. Decent food. The late night evening happy hour was a bonus. Our faves was the steamed egg custard. I wasn’t fond of the potato pancake cause it was a bit sweet.
10/10 recommend! We visited Joodam for a double date, and we were really impressed! The server was very friendly, and attentive to our needs. She also had great recommendations when we inquired about the menu. The atmosphere is inviting, and really encourages socializing. Highly recommend! Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs required
4 stars for Joodam! :- Lively and friendly atmosphere with amazing food. -1 star just because I did find the food quality to be inconsistent —the first time I stopped by, everything was amazing but the second time around I felt as thought the food tasted incredibly mediocre and was a little let down. Nevertheless, Joodam is still a “must-try” restaurant! I highly recommend the corn cheese! I noticed they had new items on their menu since my last visit and will definitely be stopping by when I have the time to check them out :
I think we found our new hangout spot The food and drinks were good and absolutely loved the atmosphere! Our server was such a gem, from her personality to her recommendations as well. Even though I'm lactose intolerant, I'd have to say my favourite dish was the brie & corn. The sauce on the steak was also to die for! I don't have a picture of the kimchi caesar I got but I would recommend trying it it's garnished with a fat slice of spam and make sure to order it extra spicy ok!!
Perfect fusion. I’m so impressed with the portion sizes and flavours, it’s a super funky and delicious take on Korean food! Definitely try the Egg Pudding and the Potato Pancake.
This restaurant is meant for sharing large plates. If you’re super hungry, you would have to order about 5-6 plates for 4 people. It was a great atmosphere, the food was amazing. I did not get a chance to try any of their drinks but would definitely be back to try it out including other items on the menu.
Every dish we tried was flavourful and delicious. Cocktails were great. I think I’d only change one thing… toasting the baguette that came with the corn & Brie
Wasn't sure what to expect as we came here on a bit of a whim but ended up really enjoying it and planning on coming back! We got the Korean Fried Tofu, Kimchi arancini, and the Mussels. The tofu was piping hot and really loved the slightly spicy teriyaki sauce that went with it. The arancini was a bit more standard, didn't really taste too much of the kimchi but it was decent. The mussels with the house made tomato sauce was my favourite out of what we ordered, I would literally just straight up eat only that sauce if I could, would definitely recommend any dish that has that.
