I recently had the pleasure to visit Kogiya Korean BBq recommended by a friend, and it was an amazing experience! This hidden gem is in a food court spot in downtown Calgary exceeded my expectations. The food was simply delicious. I tried the beef bulgogi, which was tender and packed with flavor. The side dishes were a real treat as well, especially the kimchi and the bean sprouts. Everything was fresh and tasted homemade. The service was fantastic too. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They helped us navigate the different options and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I highly recommend Kogia to anyone looking for delicious Korean BBQ in Calgary. It's definitely worth a visit, and I can't wait to go back!

I got the beef bulgogi and it was pretty good. I saw a lot of people getting the bbq beef which looked much better. Pretty good value and amount of food.

The food tasted great, the portions are huge, the owner was on top of things. Prices are really reasonable too! We had a lot of special instructions for our food and they followed it to a T. Very nice and great to communicate with. Highly recommended and will definitely order from Kogiya again and again! I wish I took more photos of all our food before we scarfed them down lol! Kogiya steak, beef barbeque bibimbap and Kogiya jumbo in photo are must-tries!

Came across them on Uber Eats while in Calgary last week and decided to give them a try. Ordered a few dishes and every one was awesome. Reordered a couple days later to try a few new things and was not disappointed. HIGHLY recommend

Have never written a review before, but I think this place deserves my first. They offer big, filling portions at a very fair price. The food was super tasty as well I got the jumbo combo. In fact, it was so tasty that my first delivery driver probably ate it on the way to my house, which is possibly why he didn't show up lol Will definitely come again

Omg had to put down my food to write this. Stop reading and go eat there. If everything else is as good as what I got just got stir fried udon, you'll love it. There's a lot more I can say but the food is calling me back. I can definitely see this place becoming one of my favorites. Edit: Have you ever eaten something so good you feel like tearing up? Lol

The food is pretty good here, but I feel like the lady at the front taking your order is very rude and straight with you. Even asking her a simple question on what something is seems to be a task for her, she barely gives you an answer and she looks the other way. I asked her about a pasta salad that they had, I told her “what’s in that” and she just said “pasta” and looked the other way and walked away from me… well of course I know there is pasta there… she could of given me a quick explanation on atleast the flavour. This is the second time I have gone there and she just doesn’t give people the time of day, she seems to be more about speed but forgets customer service at times. Anyways, foods pretty good here but I find the customer service horrible.
