This place is definitely in my top 3 for coffee in Fredericton. The staff were so chatty and gave me a good welcome to Fredericton. A good quality roast coffee and lots of extras to buy if you wish. If they had more room for the option to sit down and chill that'd be great.
I've been going here every chance I get when I am visiting ...I love these two...always had a superb experience , great conversations, fantastic coffees..I missed the coffee and conversations through Covid.. AND the international objects d' art well worth a browse if you want something not 'big box' for someone special. Actually I wish I could give them more than 5 stars..does not seem enough.
I love this place! I walk 4 blocks daily to get my coffee here. We also buy our beans here for our home coffees. Delicious coffees roasted in-house, huge variety. And of course John and Nancy are wonderful and great to chat with.
Best coffee in Fredericton, bar none! Johnnie really knows the craft of roasting coffee all done on-site, keeping everything in the sweet "medium" roast range: he doesn't do "dark" aka burnt, nor does he do any anemic "light". He is also a master in coffee preparation getting it perfect ever time, and you can always chose from among 30 single origin coffees! Whether a Bolivian Latte, or a Kenyan long black, we've never gotten anything less than excellent. He will grind anything for you, specific to your preferred brewing method no judgment if you dont have a burr grinder at home. Nancy is a friendly bubbly spirit who lightens up every visit.
The best coffee beans, the best coffee in Town! John and Nancy are lovely. Amazing customer service. Locally roasted, fresh coffee beans with an amazing variety.
Never been a coffee guy, but introduced to fresh roasted, freshly ground coffee from Jonnie’s. I’m hooked. Fantastic couple, very welcoming.
Randomly walked in for a coffee and had the best mocha of my life! The woman at the front was so friendly! We chatted for a bit while I paid for my drink and was extremely nice and engaging. Would recommend to anyone for a great coffee or chat!
Best coffee in town! Fresh beans roasted in house and a super cute aesthetic
No. This place can’t pull a proper espresso. They have no idea how to make a flat white, macchiato, etc. All they are doing is hiding sins in boatloads of milk. Lots of poseurs these days trying to cash in on “coffee culture”. If Fredericton thinks this is good coffee then this town is hopeless. Also, didn’t find owners friendly at all. Two big frauds only focussed on making a quick, cheap buck.
Excellent espresso coffee in a funky joint owned by a local legend. Jonnie makes a mean cup of the good stuff and boasts an impressive range of imported beans for sale in house. No food available unfortunately and the coffee was pricey even by Fredericton standards. IMHO Jonnie is competing with Chess Piece for the best espresso in town
