Hana Ethiopian Cafe & Take-Out

So happy that we finally got to try this restaurant, it definitely lives up to the positive reviews. We had a great experience the staff were friendly and efficient, the food was fantastic and reasonably priced. My favorite definitely was the split peas and the lentils. Will for sure be visiting this establishment again

Delicious as usual! I've been eating Hana's food since the Northside Market opened a few years ago. I was glad to see that she has finally opened her own café. The big secret here...is that she does coffee. And by "does" coffee I don't just mean serve it...she roasts it too. And if you choose the traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony she roasts it for you TABLESIDE! I didn't have time to try the ceremony today it takes 45 minutes but I definitely look forward to having this unique experience! I did have a macchiato though, and it was tasty...

Every time I’m in Fredericton I get takeout from this restaurant. This IS the BEST Ethiopian food I’ve ever had & I’ve had a lot. It’s always fresh, the portions are incredibly generous & it’s consistent. I feel like Hana makes her food with love. It is comfort food at it’s best. Do not shy away from trying this incredibly flavourful cuisine. Thank you Hana; I will continue to drive the 2 hours for your food.

Hana is a very kind host and her food is delicious! Thank you! If you have a chance, ask Hana about her published autobiography. It looks like an interesting read and the proceeds go to a great cause!
