Very nice vegan café/restaurant and local art gallery, service was good, atmosphere is nice too, spent a while getting some work done. Decent coffee. Had the soup of the day which was hearty and well-seasoned. Prices are very reasonable.
A great spot, especially if you are vegan, but even if you're not. I'm not vegan, but this place has such a wonderful vibe, flavourful selection of foods and snacks, and great snacks. With seating both upstairs and downstairs, it still gets busy during rush hour, so get there early if you're dining in. It's also one of the very few options in the city for those choosing not to eat meat, so thumbs up for diversity as well. I had a cappuccino and their coconut curry. Delicious and packed with ingredients, you certainly won't leave hungry.
We had a lovely experience here. The food, for us, the Mediterranean salad and vegetarian panini followed by the curry bowl were all amazing. Neither of us left hungry, in fact we we left with a take away box of leftovers. Topped off with an in-house drag show, a perfect evening.Food: 5/5
Very nice vegan restaurant with great options. The price was low for a good quality. It’s definitely worth a visit! We loved the panini and burritos:
Cute cafe by the museums. The curry with chick peas and seeds and zucchini spirals was really hearty and filling and really tasty. The burrito and chocolate peanut butter cake were also delicious, and all of it a nice change after too many tourist-ing hamburgers and fish and chips.
Always such a lovely place to visit! Amazing customer service and wonderful atmosphere. Delicious food and drinks!
Made an unexpected stop in Fredericton and looking for a vegan joint Abbey's is the first we stumbled upon. So glad we did! Great service, cute restaurant with lots of delicious options! Next time we pass through we'll be making a planned stop here!
We were looking for a vegan restaurant while in Fredericton and decided to try out Abbey’s - it had great vibes and the lentil meatball panini was so good that we had to come back the next day and get it again! Seriously will be dreaming about that panini for a long time. Highly recommend whether you’re vegan or not!
amazing atmosphere and the staff are very pleasant, often giving out compliments. they have a lot of art and give away plants sometimes which is really nice. the zucchini panini is to die for!! i usually add tofu to it as well and it's very filling. for the people that enjoy cow milk they also have that as an option for their drinks. Vegetarian options: since it's a vegan restaurant it's also very vegetarian friendly.
Great food but we were told we had to bring our dirty dishes back once we were done our meal. Going out to eat a sit down meal and I have to clear the table??? No - I don’t work there. The staff have to clean the table and they should clear the dishes. I don’t use self check outs and I do not work at the Abbey Cafe. We like to go out to eat so we don’t have to cook or clean. Also our hands were full with our own own items. I will not be back.
