John Carver Inn & Spa

The deluxe room (2 queen beds) were nice/clean. I had read that the walls were thin, I disagree, but we kept the fan running the whole time. Only a few of the front desk staff made it a point to greet us when we would walk in: I’m a teacher ;therefore , I have to mention social skills. The pool area is cute but at 8:00 you are kindly asked to leave. The bar is also nice but closes way too early. We had one meal at the Hearth and Kettle. By the way, we were given food vouchers which reduced the bill—that was a plus. The food was mediocre ,but our waitress was very sweet and had a great sense of humor—an A+ in social skills. The housekeeping staff were all very nice. It also would have been nice to have a microwave. Overall, our stay was pleasant.

Wonderful place. Room was nice size & clean. No microwave. Staff friendly & very helpful. Great location to walk to Old Mill, parks, shops & waterfront downtown area. Hotel's restaurant was nice. Good menu, large potions & cute decor. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel the front desk was kind enough to upgrade us from a double queen to a King size room free of charge. The restaurant was not as good. We had room service. They got our order wrong the food was cold. Pancakes were chewy like they had been microwaved. Not worth the price. After that I would say room was great bed was comfy pillows were fuffy just right. Stay there you will like it. Just don't eat there.

Great position with free parking. Very spacious rooms with unbelievably comfortable beds. Facilities are excellent and staff very welcoming and friendly would highly recommend.

If you are 16 or under you are not allowed to use the hot tub. Over all the John Carver Inn is amazing. Its a good place to have birthday parties or chill with your family. In the hotel rooms they have a mini fridge to store refrigerated items. They have lifeguards at the pool most of the time.
