I drive School Bus and this has been an annual stop for a class trip after visiting the New England Aquarium in Boston. The hotel and staff have always been very accommodating for our schools class stay. The facility has a Bistro with a bar. The staff are friendly and it is a comfortable place to dine or have a relaxing drink. There is an inside pool at the bottom level. A short walk through the front entrance gives way to many restaurants, gift shops and historical walkways. If you want, you can go on a whale watch or fishing. A Walk on the break water is beautiful as well.

We had a great stay. The room was clean, large, and had a nice balcony over the indoor pool. We didn't swim but it looked really nice. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Location was great. Cobwebs in the corner, pretzels on the floor and dirty hand prints on the headboard from the previous guest. They were renovating and the morning beeping of the eauipment was disturbing. If they can improve on their housekeeping it would be a great place to stay.

For a last minute get away before school vacation was over, our kids wanted to go swimming and stay over night in a hotel. John Gascoyne recommended Hotel 1620 as the perfect place to go to have a quiet swim time and stay with the kids. Matt at the front desk was awesome! He helped us get a room that was along the pool, so the kids could maximize their swim time. We had a great time! Before we left in the morning, we went to the bistro and had breakfast. While I was there I met Brian and another man named Matt. Although we only planned on eating a quick breakfast and heading home, we ended up sitting and talking to Brian and Matt for quite some time! They were both really awesome guys, who loved their jobs, and that radiated off of them. All together, the staff was great, the recommendation was perfect for us, and the stay was clean and relaxing. I highly recommed this hotel to anyone looking for a stress free and comfortable stay! Thanks again John!

A very clean and super well located hotel for Plymouth. Quiet and recently updated, the rooms are comfy and the indoor pool is a nice touch.
