The hotel itself is in a convenient location but there is zero sound proofing so we heard cars nonstop. I’ve also never in my life stayed at a hotel without curtains that fully cover and block out light. The photo attached was our window at almost 10pm with curtains fully drawn down. This was a horrible night of sleep due to that alone. Our bathroom had mold on the ceiling and the caulking had mold built up in spots. For $320/night, the conditions are unacceptable. I saw in another review that they state a remodel is coming. That’s fine but they then should be lowering the price until after that point. Even the vending machines are absurd. $4 per bottle for a Pure Leaf tea that costs $20 for a 12 pack and even grocery stores that sell it individually typically charge $2 max. Will not be back to this hotel in the future. Which is unfortunate because we have enjoyed our stay at every other Hampton Inn we’ve stayed at.
Great place to stay! Room was very clean, the shower had great water pressure and got hot. The breakfast was really good! I made use of the laundry facility and that worked great for a reasonable price! You wont go wrong staying here!
Let me first say that this place looks gorgeous and it's located in a very nice area. I was expecting the same cleanliness like the Hamptons in Maine, that hotel was just absolutely excellent! Now for the rooms and it's cleanliness here at Plymouth the room floor was sticky and there was crumbs left on the floor, the bathroom toilet seat had urine stains and finally the bed sheet had hairs on it that my wife easily just brushed off with her hand. I would've made a complaint but it was already late and we were tired from the drive over here from Acadia, Maine. This is unacceptable!
Clean and quiet. I am a very light sleeper and was worried about noise as there was a large party happening in one of the ballrooms and we were right next to the elevators. We were here three nights and I wasn't woken up once!nAll the staff I interacted with were professional and helpful. Definitely will stay again if we are in the area.
Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel was not quite as clean as we expect Hamptons to be. The tile part of the floor in our room was sticky and the carpet was stained. We did not complain as we were only there for one night but the cleanliness was certainly disappointing.
