Above the Bay at Thornton Adams

Unfriendly welcome, no glasses in the room, breakfast was simple "continental", not as expected. Room was spotless and comfortable.

House is impeccable! Food is great too. Christine does a good job. There are some small, but convenient details missed and the location is a bit removed from downtown, but it's quaint, quiet and seems to attract a great group of visitors (breakfast conversation was great!)

We had a great three day stay. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the hostess welcoming and warm. We hope to visit again.

Our stay at Above the Bay was incredible! Check in and check out were easy and smooth, even though we had to arrive at an odd time to get to a wedding. Ample parking and easy to find (especially at night with a well lit sign). The rooms and the rest of the house were impeccable...clean, well maintained, well procured, and full of character. The bedroom had all of the things you would need, seating, drawers, closet, bathrooms, etc. Plenty of supplies. Great shower water pressure, and good air conditioning to keep us cool on the hot hot days. While we didn't spend much time inside, there was certainly room for it and great places to relax in common areas and the back yard or porch. Breakfast was incredible! Eggs Benedict, fruits, yogurt, and delicious coffee. The inn was located close to Long Beach in Plymouth, and Plimouth Plantation. There are sidewalks to walk on and the view from the room was beautiful. I give this bed and breakfast five stars! Thank you so much for enhancing our stay on the cape.

This is a beautiful B&B, extremely clean, great price and a nice location with ocean view. Christine the Inn keeper is sweet, professional and a great cook. She got us into a room last minute and was very helpful. The bed was super comfy and high. The room was very nicely decorated but pretty small, I suspect that was because we got the last one, the bathroom though was huge. My only suggestion would be hanging the LCD TV on the wall to allow room for a small desk. Would stay again, will recommend to friends.
