Jefferson County Lake

Oh I love this place. It is so peaceful. Every year since we moved here we have been able to see how the county is reinvesting funds into the facility. During warm weather we go walking almost every day here. The hosts are kind and it is fun getting to know others who also come regularly.

The 4th of July party is awesome, but I don't trust the water to swim in. Great place for sledding in the winter

Come here every year for family reunions. Cost $5 each to park a car at the lake. The lake is nice, busy, and extremely popular during the summer. It's fed with water for the Snake river. Great park, well maintained. Doesn't have a place to change into a swimsuit so change before or bring a tent. There is a wood playground here as well, but it is not as popular as the lake.

Love going here during the summer. It can sometimes get a little crowded, but usually it's not too bad. I also love that you can rent kayaks and paddleboards there.
