So this is our go to spot! For a quick last minute getaway. Water was rather nice, it was clear till we kicked up dirt. There are a couple play parks for the young ones, a sand volleyball pit, As well as pavilions for larger family gatherings!

Really great area.  Very cleaned and maintained. Has fishing area, playground, several picnic tables and  trails. My only dislike is there are tons of shrubs with thorns along all the banks of water except by the boat ramp area.  That's great to keep kids at bay for safety reasons, but fishermen it's  horrible, because  you can't get  access. You are limited to fishing by boat ramp or on other side of highway bridge.

I love camping and usually prefer not to go to park and camp spots but Beaver Dick is a really nice camp ground. Great bathrooms as far as campgrounds like this go and lots of fire pits either in your campsite or in communal areas. You can reserve spots including the communal picnic bench areas.
