Story

I designed and opened Jak's Cafe in the spring of 2007. My goal was to make good, wholesome, healthy & tasty food for all. Also create a comfortable atmosphere to come and relax and make you feel at home.

It was located in a lovely street! And the ambiance of the cafe was very nice. And the service of the staffs were excellent!  However, the only good thing was dessert cake! The oat latte was blend and didn’t properly frothed! In addition, it was in the pricey side! A slice of cake was £7-8.

I had flat white and hummus with pizza bread. Not that cheap price but I enjoyed the big portion of hummus. The pizza bread was especially good, really chewy. The tables are big and comfy so I loved this part, too.

It is what we'd call, in Italy, "Gastronomia": everything is pre-cooked and well exposed also well explained, if you need an explanation on the ingredients, so there's no way of getting a "surprise plate" at the table! This place saved our vacation: I eat gluten and dairy free, while my sister and nephew can eat lasagna and cotoletta or polpette with no issues at all. The oat cake with banana and dates also saved my breakfasts: literally lovely, very very good tasting. Thanks Felice for always being kind and paying attention to our needs. Super, super suggested: this place accomodates all tastes and dietary restrictions!

Quiet and clean place with nice ambiance for a coffee or a quick bite.. We had fresh juices and will go back for food for sure..

An excellent find away from the main tourist spots of Knightsbridge. Wide selection of main courses and side salads. Added bonus of a Swiss bottled beer, which was great. Great cake and dessert selection  and a pretty impressive coffee.

Had Jak's Royale, Apple Refresh and black Americano. The eggs were poached perfectly. The café has a very pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I definitely enjoy going to jack's There's a great selection of dishes and the staff are always welcoming, friendly and professional.  Vegetarian options: There are a variety of dishes to choose from which are vegetarian. You are able to see what&#39;s available and choose what you want.  Parking: Pay by phone Parking is available outside but is limited. If you are a Kensington and Chelsea residential permit holder there&#39;s more parking available not far from the restaurant if available.

£21 for 4 pain au chocolat's and 2 coffee's - if I was blown away by how delicious they were, maybe, but it was distinctly average. Better options nearby at cheaper prices.

Beautiful French, Italian Deli in the heart of South Kensington. They just received amazing exclusive French cheese: Camembert du Boulonnais, my favourite Ecume de Wimereux double cream, Fruite du cap gris nez and Petit Sable de Wissant.  And also full of french products: Childhood: Bonne Maman, Petit Ecolier...  A place to go 5*

Has special character, lovely staff.. and good selection of salads
