One of the treasures of Port Orchard, Washington, Debbie Macomber’s The Grey House Café is located at the Debbie Macomber Village Square on Bethel Avenue.
The Grey House Café serves breakfast and lunch daily and offers special high teas throughout the year along with a variety of beer and wine to make up a great Happy Hour. The Hallmark Gold Crown Gift Shop carries many unique gifts as well as Debbie Macomber merchandise and books for that special someone.
As a resident of Port Orchard, Debbie Macomber started out as a patron and quickly fell in love with the unique aspects and architecture of the Victorian building. She became its proud owner in 2004 and soon renamed it as the Victorian Tea Room.
Debbie Macomber is a #1 New York Times bestselling author and one of today’s most popular writers with more than 200 million copies of her books in print worldwide. The author featured the Victorian Tea Room in her beloved and bestselling Cedar Cove book series. In the book series, Debbie’s characters Seth & Justine Gunderson become the owners of the Victorian Tea Room after their restaurant, The Lighthouse, is lost to arson.
In 2013, The Hallmark Channel adapted Debbie's Cedar Cove books into its first dramatic scripted television series of the same name. Come for breakfast or lunch then make a day of it and stay to browse through the gift shop. Visit "Cedar Cove" to be uplifted and inspired -- it's a perfect escape.
In 2016 Debbie updated the building and reopened as The Grey House Café, adding the Hallmark Gold Crown Store to the gift shop.
