Very friendly. The menu is not a standard breakfast menu, it's a cut above. The dishes are unique and have some local, fresh ingredients. Their signature dish is the apple cinnamon pancake, which is a but more like French toast in consistency. It was delicious and enough for 2 people, maybe with a side.nnService was very friendly with a down home feel.
Although it’s hidden on top of the hill but when you get there you realize it’s a great find. We had to wait for about 30 minutes. They do not do reservations but it was worth the wait. From the cinnamon coffee to the fresh squeezed orange juice.. everything was delicious. I had scrambled eggs Nicole and it was yummy. The lemon blueberry French toast was a hit if you love breakfast on the sweet side. Service was fantastic and atmosphere was inviting. 10/10 I recommend the oak table if you are in or around Silverdale is worth it.
A hidden gem that looks like it is in a residential area apartments but is actually on the hillside. The view was amazing and it was peaceful and quiet on the deck outside.nnThe register and reception area are in the same location and you cannot tell if you are standing in a like to leave or get in. When I asked the young girl she apologized and got me right to a table with a great view outside.nnCoffee was great and I love the cream pitcher instead of the little creamers in plastic- so much quicker and more sustainable.nnAs this was my first time here I asked about specials or oft requested dishes. The Apple Pancake was suggested and it sounded good so I went for it expecting to bring half home.nnMy dish arrived soon with several coffee fill ups in between, and it looked larger than I thought it would be. Since it was a soufflé it was quite tall, but it slowly shrunk down as I watched it. It was as hot as the surface of the sun and on the first bite I scalded the roof of my mouth. I put my fork down and let it sit for a good 5 minutes.nnOn my second attempt to eat it, the temperature had gone down considerably, but my first 3 bites were just the egg custard base, no bread. The brown sugar glaze, apples, and apple syrup were very, very sweet, and by the time I got a bite of the pancake part, I was pretty sugared out. I ate less than 1/4 and asked for a box to take home to my family.nnAlthough I did not enjoy the pancake as much as I had hoped, there were other dishes that came from the kitchen that looked good and I would like to try.nnService was quick and efficient, however the people working had some loud personal conversations that I found to be inappropriate with guests around. A large party had left and they were dismantling a large table having some quite loud and somewhat flirty conversations. Not related to the service, just the general atmosphere.
Awesome breakfast. Despite arriving just before closing time, the staff was welcoming, courteous and patient. The location is amazing, excellent views of the valley, trees, and mountains...truly amazing. The food was fresh and satisfying ... apple pancakes, omelets, bacon, potatoes, blueberry pancakes and more ... all were excellent.
Great service and food. No wait when we arrived at 8, but was one at 9. Server and staff friendly and provided excellent meal suggestions. Got an omelet and was huge, hit and fantastic. Make sure u get a side of bacon! This is a must do for breakfast.
