2024.12.06. Sheby was incredibly knowledgeable and kind, making our customized order experience a joy. She helped us pick the best signature dishes, and my favorite was the Egg Nicole with a warm, crispy croissant on the side. The buttermilk pancake was delicious, especially with extra butter and sauce from the Egg Nicole. The blueberry lemon French toast was a bit too sweet for my taste, and the toasts could have been more moist, but it may appeal to those with a sweet tooth. The atmosphere was charming, with lovely antique collectibles and Christmas decorations. All servers were friendly and informative.
My husband really enjoyed his apple pancake, though I personally found it too sweet for my taste. As for my blueberry lemon curd French toast, it was just average. My opinion might be biased since I'm Asian. It's quite pricey. Great service and cozy atmosphere.
We found this place over the summer and drove here recently with an out of town family member after recieving some very sad family news. We wanted to take a drive and a ferry ride and introduce them to one of our favorite breakfast spots since they don’t have the apple pancake where they are from.nnThe food at the Oak Table is always so delicious. If you get the Famouse Apple Pancake- I highly suggest ordering a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. It makes it better and who doesn’t love ice cream?? Everything on their menu is made to order and is delicious. Their bacon and sausage is some of the best I have had. Their eggs are super fresh and delicious and OMG- Pumpkin Pancakes were tooooo die for! Some of the tastiest pancakes I have had and I’ve had a lot of pancakes in my life. nnService is always spectacular. They will change the menu if you have any food allergies, refill coffee when you’re low or in need of a warm up and are always pleasant and warm.nnThey get super busy on the weekends and holidays when open. We went during the week and still had to wait about 10-15 minutes, but it is always worth the wait. We wouldn’t drive an hour and a half and take a ferry if we didn’t this this restaurant was worth it!!
The Oak Table is a fantastic spot for a family breakfast. The service is excellent, with staff checking in regularly to ensure everything is perfect. The portions are generous—often enough to share between two people! However, be prepared for a wait time of 45 minutes to an hour to get a table.nnMy favorite item on the menu is the Fruit Parfait! It’s sweet, packed with plenty of strawberries and blueberries, and I definitely recommend it!
Stopped by on a Sunday morning around 800am and waited 15 minutes for a table to be available at this popular but pricey local restaurant in Silverdale. Breakfast menu items are over-priced; e.g., $6.20 Cappuccino and $4.95 Coffee. Cappuccino was good but not worth the $6.20 price tag. Mexican Omelette was served hot and was light, fluffy and tasty; however, the diced ham inside was not warmed up and made me wish I had requested chorizo in place of this tasteless ham. The Italian Scramble was also served hot and was good but a bit dry. Ordered fruit plate on the side instead of pancakes – fruit was tasty except for the unripened and tasteless cantaloupe. Wheat toast was good. Side order of 4 large slices of “thick” bacon was served hot and crispy and was tasty but was definitely not as thick as I expected thick bacon should be. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall, the food was very good but definitely over-priced after paying $75 including tip for a breakfast for two. I don't think we'll be back.
