This is written by a local. The Start Bus system is a Jackson Hole Treasure. Free rides around town. Cheap rides to Teton Village. Drivers seem happy; they must be well treated. Today a driver, Crisanto, went out of his way to help me. Thankx for the service, Crisanto!!!

As a visitor in a mini-motorhome, cannot rave enough about this great form of transportation.  Ran every half-hour, including a stop right behind the Virginian RV Park.  We could catch a ride to the grocery store, town square, or pick up a transfer to the Wildlife Art Museum.  The drivers were so helpful.  I believe our driver called ahead to the north transfer and asked him to wait for us.  Coming home from the museum, the driver spotted a regular not quite to the bus stop.  He circled thru a motel parking lot to pick him up.  In our travels, we love public transportation.  It's part of the adventure.  Wish this concept could be expanded.
