Let's just say the look and feel of the place was what left the best impression on my wife. The waitress took forever to take our drink order, took three times to get a refill and even longer for our food to arrive, and when it did, it was before the starter we ordered. The food was a little expensive for what you get, $15 dollar burger that's tiny and a $19 pasta dish that had nothing else on the plate, no salad, garlic bread or anything. The one saving grace of our experience was the manager who comped the whole meal when we brought our concerns to his attention. I've had great food experiences at other locations, so I'm going to chalk this up to a bad day and leave it at that..... for this time

I had the nachos served on a cricket bat. They were great. If 4 people g there to eat nachos like that, there's going to be a problem fitting it all on the table. Service was great, the decor also great. Clean bathrooms. One thing that lowers the score here are the prices. 20+ dollars for nachos seems excessive to me. They were good, but not 20+ dollars good.

It's not an icon like the Plaza or the Pierre -- but so what? The Mandarin Oriental, located across Columbus Circle from Central Park, offers a dizzying array of modern luxuries -- a 75-foot pool, one of the city's best spas, sweeping views from nearly every common area, and superb on-site fine-dining options, to name a few -- even as it upholds traditional values and outstanding service. Service so fast that it is not compared with others

One word. Expensive! Atmosphere was great on the lounge side. We enjoyed the cool couch style booth thing. Lots of Tv's to watch and service was good. But, by far, the biggest let down was when the bill came. Beers are $9+, bacon cheese burger was almost $20 and a chicken sandwich thing was near $18. The beers were good, but way over priced. The food was tasty but there was almost half an onion and quarter jar of mayo smothering my burger. It was pink in the middle as well. Taste was 6 out of 10. I've had much better, especially for $20! Not to mention the tea cup sized serving of fries. For $20 i expect more then a 6oz burger drowning in mayo with a cup of fries. My bill was $72 before tip for two adults eating 2 "sandwiches" and 3 beers. Food was nothing special except pricey. Will not return!!

Good value for money spent. All items on the menu are very good and well prepared... fast service.. good staff... all all occasion place.
