Islands Cafe | White Rock | Hawaiian Coffee, Poke, and Acai Bowls

Lots of seating so you can spread out. Great for groups. Good coffee which is the most important. Could use better bakery goods however. $3.65 for a poor Starbucks quality muffin that looks like it came from a grocery store bulk bakery package? No thanks. Breakfast sandwich and coffee combo seems like a good deal. Will be back to try that. It's 9:20am on a Friday morning and there is a really nice community, hangout feel here. Good overall but Bean Around The World for me has the slight edge.

Really great cafe. The atmosphere is great and the staff are really friendly. It truly represents the spirit of white rock. The food is also quite good. I really enjoy their tea.

The Islands Cafe is a great place to stop in for a coffee and a bite to eat. The coffee here is excellent and the food is up to par as well. I found the marinade in the poke bowl to be a bit too salty but I still really enjoyed it. Great small business alternative to big chain coffee stores!

Very nice atmosphere and espresso is great. My wife and I have had around 6 acai bowls over a few months hoping they would get it 100% right at one point but they still need improvement. It's simple: stop making your acai puree so thick and full of massive frozen chunks... Take some extra time and effort to perfect a cool, smooth, delicate puree not a frozen mind numbing chunk of ice. We'll be in next week to try again...fingers crossed. All else is great about this friendly little cafe!

Islands has a nice friendly atmosphere, when coming though the front door. Fresh coffee aroma and the chatter of the local clientele. Always busy every time I go in. Great location near the White Rock clock tower, so the Hawaiian Islands experience, is easy to find. Thanks.
