Iruka Japanese Cuisine

Great place, very fresh and tasty food. Perfect atmosphere for a party or dine out with family. The owner saying they are getting a liquor license...Yeah!!!! They have SIX TVs on the walls. Great place for watching sports once they have the liquor license in place.

The interior and atmosphere was good and clean and staff were very friendly. The portions are not the largest but the presentation was nice. Unfortunately it took over 30 minutes to get my spicy tuna maki where other peoplenother tables got their order much ahead of mine. My table was already done eating when my maki roll came out.

Very delicious sushi shop right in the heart of Whyte Ave. Still has tasty small dishes like an Izakaya style of restaurant but the sushi is still very delicious. The bartender has really great local beers on tap as well. Its also nice to have the patio outside.

Poor service, had to get up to get myself water. Food was OK, way better places if you want the same style of food. Prices were pretty steep for the amount you get.

Went iruka with my friends yesterday. We ordered spicy tuna, king roll. The sushi tastes so good, we enjoyed the food. The server also gave us free chips. We will come next time and try more new things.

Tasty food, though we only had the Japanese menu. Not cheap but not expensive either the poke bowl was good but quite small for the price.
