Inn On The Lake

Great place to eat amid beautiful surroundings. The atmosphere in the restaurant and pub is awesome. My wife loves their homemade chowder and their steaks are delicious. Meals are well portioned and very tasty. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an intimate dining experience. If I could give it a ten star rating I would.

What a Dandy spot to be stuck. Before I even get to talking about the room I must acknowledge Daniel at the front desk did a incredible job! I was lucky enough to get a reservation earlier in the day but when I arrived the poor girl was on her own and must of had several different people on the phone as well as a couple of standing customers including myself. She was so pleasant to everyone, even to customers who appeared angry over the phone due to the hotel being overbooked. Anyway the room was quite nice! I was in room 353 and what a treat. Just a overall nice room. It's very classy and definitely somewhere you could stay a couple days. The only downfalls to this Inn is the noise that comes through the floor from the bar below. You can hear clear conversation and the music bleeds up into the room pretty invasive. With that being said I think if you could get a room that overlooks the water or on the back of the in you would be doing quite good as you should be far enough away to not be effected. In conclusion 110% would like to come back just I would recommend avoiding rooms on the front of the hotel like the plague. I'd pehaps rate this hotel higher if I stayed in a different room but at this time the room I got was just alright.

While researching a place for my wedding I came across The Inn on the Lake. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. They made me feel at ease, and made the planning a breeze.

Ate at Oliver's pub. Always great. Excellent food and quiet and cozy. I like the pub better than the restaurant.

I ordered the pork tenderloin and it looked like it was in a bath of marmalade and it was soo sweet i could hardly stomach it. I ate the pork after scraping off the sticky mess and left everything else on the plate. Terrible I wont be back.
