Staff are over the top attentive to your needs. Texted each day to see how we were making out and if there was anything we needed. The free breakfast is a full on hot and hold buffet from 6-10 AM. The room was large and the bed very comfortable, I'd definitely stay again.
This hotel is conveniently located in Dartmouth Crossing. It's close within walking distance of the commercial hub, where you'll find all the restaurants, outlets, and stores.nThey're a bit expensive for what you get. The rooms are pretty small and not all that clean. The sofa in my room had drippings all down one side that dried up and it was pretty beat up. I didn't dare sit in it. The office chair in the room was void of any integrity, as well.nThe bed was comfy but I let them in to change it mid-week and when I got in from work, it wasn't changed. Just tucked-in. They didn't even vacuum. They did change the towels, at least.nThe breakfast is where it's at, though. It's a nice continental-style buffet. There's a bit of everything and it all seems relatively fresh. They also offer some grab bags at the front desk so you have a morning snack and a bottle of water when you need it. A good idea for the person on the go.nThey have a nice gym and a nice pool area. However, I wouldn't mind some privacy glass in the pool area like they have for the gym. I noticed a few gawkers while waiting for the elevator. That close to the lobby, it needs to be more private.nIn all, it's an okay place. They definitely need to work on their pricing as the hotel is starting to feel a bit rundown. They might want cut back on booking large groups a bit.
Great stay at the Hampton. Booked for our daughter's birthday and the staff had our hotel room decorated and treats waiting for her. The room was spacious and the beds were comfy. A large pool with a fun waterslide kept the kids entertained for hours. Breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from. Great place to stay with kids.
It was a pleasure staying at the Hilton Hotel in Dartmouth, NS. You truly feel the presence of a dedicated team, both staff and management working together to provide an exceptional experience. If there were a 6-star rating, I would gladly give this hotel 6/5!nThank you to the kind and attentive personnel, especially on the 7th floor. I highly recommend this hotel, particularly for families.
First time visitor and it was great. Friendly staff and ease of check in.nThe room was spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast was a bonus.nThe location is ideal with lots of shopping and restaurants just across the parking lot within easy walking distance.
