This Best Western is conveniently located in Dartmouth within a short drive to downtown Halifax. We had a really pleasant stay from the comfortable hotel room to the amenities. The hotel is relatively new and equipped with a fun water slide that operates on evenings. Guest service was pleasant to talk to.nnIn the morning complementary breakfast is provided. Only area for small improvement is the lighting, as the restaurant dining is dark and so was our room even with all lights! The location is next to an office building but still has plenty of its own parking.
We booked and stayed at this hotel recently, with the hope this was a good choice. Our travelling was for a bit of an emergency so we had to fly and book without much time to research our stay. This was a quick pick based on location, but was definitely the right one. Our stay here met and beat our expectations. The room was large, lovely and very clean. The staff were friendly and more than accommodating. The restaurant, from the service to the food, was top notch! Though we didn’t need this, shopping was very close if needed. Consider this location if you’re looking to stay in Dartmouth NS.
This hotel is the best possible experience with children aged 9 and 10. The slide in the pool area was a BIG hit .nthe room was exceptionally clean ....the breakfast was very good and the staff were very courteous. It was also a benefit having an EV charger for the vehicle.nThe location was also very good being close to shopping facilities and easy to get in and out of the city.
Great hotel, but bring your own toilet paper and facecloths. Toilet paper is the cheapest ever. Towels weren’t changed for a 3-night stay, so 2 facecloths for five people were clearly not enough.nApart from that, the pool with the slide was great for the kids and the adults! Breakfast buffet is diversified and excellent. Hint: coffee machine in the lobby is better than the buffet’s. Gastro pub is good, but the fries are small and overcooked.
Booked 4 nights here. Staff friendly. Room clean and fairly quiet. Very small bathroom but does have shower and tub.nnService so so. Out of hotel for 6 plus hours today. Returned 245pm and room still not serviced. Had to call front desk. 45 minutes later still no service or front desk follow-up. Not great. You would think some priority would be assigned to guests with more than 2 nights stay…nnPainfully slow internet. Good luck trying to stream anything. TV channel options slim pickings. Ugh.nnDecent breakfast included.nnAdjacent Trendz pub has good service.
