Inn At Grey Gables B & B

We do not normally leave bad reviews and we regret needing to do so for The Inn at grey Gables, however, we had a very disappointing experience there over the weekend. Although very nice, the staff was very unorganized. There was no information in our rooms regarding wifi, breakfast times in th morning, etc. Which really wasn't a big deal, we checked the website for breakfast times, got up the next morning and headed down. There was orange juice and a keurig for coffee. We made 1 coffee, because there was only 1 mug. The next few guests came down looking for coffee as well, the gentleman had to wash 1 cup at a time as guests asked for them which was odd. He then said he had gotten up late, but didn't say anything else just proceeded to have us all wait in the dining room, confused and awkward. Him and another gentlemen rattled around in the kitchen, got their own coffee, and went outside. No apology to all of us waiting for breakfast. The rest of the people left the dining room after about 15-20 minutes. We waiting a little longer and while we did finally receive some fruit, the gentleman never apologized and we sat waiting again for any more food. It never came and we went upstairs to shower and pack. Our room also did not have any towels, which again would not have been a big deal if not for everything else we encountered. Very overpriced for very poor service. Charlevoix is a lovely town though.

Cozy and warm feels like home as soon as you walk in! Perfect romantic get away.

This is a very nice place in a great part of Charlevoix. The Inn Keepers are a hoot, too.

What an amazing place to spend a weekend. The hosts were absolutely wonderful. I couldn't recommend a better place to stay in Charlevoix. Already planning our next trip!

A great, cozy little bed and breakfast just steps from Downtown Charlevoix and close to the water. Nice bonus to have the free breakfast. They were very welcoming and friendly. I absolutely recommend this B&B to anyone who is visiting Charlevoix and wants a more intimate setting than a standard hotel.
