Edgewater Inn

We had a great stay here. The staff was super friendly, the condo was very clean, and it actually looked even nicer than the photos. The view was beautiful — we loved watching the sunrise — and the fireplace made the space feel cozy and inviting. It was perfect for our needs!

Everything about this unit and location was perfect! We went for the bridge drop and watched it from the balcony. The unit was clean and well-decorated, and the perfect place to relax and warm up when we weren’t out exploring.nThe only concern was that, with all the snow, we had to take off our boots before going inside the unit because it was all carpet. And there was nowhere to hang our wet gear. BUT, that would only be an issue in the winter. In the summer, I can’t see any problems.nWe would definitely stay here again.

This was such a wonderful retreat for Thanksgiving weekend! We’ve worked with VRBO a lot, and have had a lot of great experiences. This one was right up there. The two-level layout gave us plenty of room to enjoy during a long weekend, and allowed my wife, me, and our adult daughter to have our own space. The unit was appointed very nicely, and very comfortably. The beds were excellent. The bathrooms were high-end bathrooms. Plenty of storage space. And what a great view! Check-in and check-out were easy. We’ll do this again next fall!

My husband and I recently booked a 2 bedroom 2 bath Condo for the weekend. We have stayed many times in Charlevoix but never at Edgewater Inn. We were pleasantly surprised and happy that we had chosen such a beautiful location. Working with Lahna was so helpful as she txted with answers about the accommodations. Her expertise in customer relations was very apparent. The kitchen was well staffed with everything we needed for meal preparation. The living room area had the most amazing views of the draw bridge and channel leading out to Lake Michigan. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable. The amenities for personal care were a good brand and well stocked. We enjoyed the convenience of the very short walk to town for shopping and restaurants. After we left, I realized I had left two pairs of very sentimental earrings. I panicked until I was able to check with the hotel the next day. I was so relieved to hear that Grace who had cleaned up after we had checked out had found them and placed them safely away in the office. My goodness, hotel staff needs a huge shoutout for their honesty and the professional job they do for people they may have never even met. We will definitely use Edgewater Inn whenever we need a room in Charlevoix. The company who oversees these condo rentals really need to know they have hired excellent, quality staff.

We love the Edgewater Inn in Charlevoix. Our favorite is #114. It is so warm and cozy. A wonderful view of Round Lake watching the Ferry. The dishwasher, disposal and lovely bath and shower and comfortable bed make it so nice. The staff is so helpful and friendly from Carly at the front desk to the maintenance and cleaning staff - all 5 star. The prices are very affordable as well
