I was shopping at Infonec since 1996, at their original first location. After all these years, the owner still remembers me! They always had good customer service and products. I am happy to see they are still in business, although I have moved away from the area. I am also happy to leave this review.
Their website no longer exists, and I tried to call because I was looking to buy a new PC. The woman who answered said they no longer sell to the public. Too bad, as they were great back in the day; I bought at least 4 PCs from them as well as many parts and accessories.
They do not have a showroom anymore, just a service desk where you tell the attendant what parts you need and they'll grab it from the back for you. Be sure to check the stock online before going. They take cash or debit, surcharge for credit. Entrance is also strangely at the back with the truck loading bays.
"No longer selling to the public"..? Been going for years when I needed a new P.C. Went to check the website and yeah it's down, so I ended up here. Too bad.
They used to be great but their site has a security certificate that expired 318 days ago so I guess they've gone downhill
Now that it is just an order desk without a showroom, it is much easier and quicker than before.
It is another option to look for if you can't find a deal or the item at tigerdirect canadacomputer or ncix.
they have the best Customer services on the net, despite their price Certainly I will recommend them to everyone
Decent show room, you may find some odd end items.
