Poor choice on my part...Purchased items with back order of 2 weeks as stated when inquired over the phone and on 4 weeks back-order stated on website. Eight weeks later sent numerous emails  looking for an order update with no response, I gave up trying to communicate by email,  I called them, they didn't know when they would receive stock the CS then explained it would take 2 business days for a refund,  the order cancellation email said 8 to 10 business days for a refund.  If you don't have the product to sell don't make it available on your website, don't waste the customers time, then hold their money/refund for ransom, its bad business. I spend my time looking for small/local businesses to support rather then giving my money to JBezos/@mazon only to get burned. I would have given a better review but the inconsistency between information given to you over the phone and by email when they reply is inaccurate and untrustworthy.

Incredibly slow choice of shipping/transport. Ordered a Hack RF One, shipping from Toronto area to Montreal. They use Canada Post so 4 days later, still not delivered and not even coming today so it will end up around 7-8 days total for shipping from Toronto to Montreal. And they charged around 30$ for the shipping on top of that. Will not order from them again as long as they use Canada Post.

I have purchased several items over the years from them.  My last purchase of a Pi 3B+ and keyboard remote control both did not function correctly.  The Pi would freeze and the keyboard cursor would not go up.  I know the Pi was bad because I tried the exact same SD card and hardware set up and it has been running flawlessly.  I brought home the Pi after they said it worked fine and it did the exact same thing and locked up.  They refuse to acknowledge that there is a problem with the board.  They also indicated that the keyboard functioned fine.  I picked it back up and plugged it in at home and again the up arrow did not function.  I do not trust their exchange policy and think that I will be taking my purchases to Amazon.  It is not worth saving $2 and then ending up with such headaches and bad products too.

This shop deserves all the praise in the world. Great prices and they care to help you use well their products in after sale care from biggest to tiniest ! Very kind people to deal with.

I travelled to the store to buy some electronic parts for a project I'm working on.  I wanted some basic advice, but was turned away by the person who came to the counter. She merely turned around a sign, originally facing the wall, saying that you have to pre-book a personal session; and that charges may apply. This was a totally wasted trip; and I am so angry with them. I'll find another supplier for my Arduino / Raspberry Pi projects.

Canada Robotix is a local business that provides Raspberry Pi and other related items to the robotic. First, you have to sign up on their website, then you can order on their website and pay online. When they send you an email you can go for picking up. They are open only 3-6 pm A parking lot is available

Purchased 1 x Arduino Leonardo 1 X Arduino UNO 1 x adm1602u-nsw-fbs/z 1 x adm12864h-fsy-ybs/z  Everything has differing issues despite using the correct test sketches from sparkfun for the displays they were marked as sparkfun UNO does random resets every time it is moved, Displays wont work on either Arduino or a known good UNO. All going back under an RMA. Unsure if they were knockoff units or what ? Canada Robotix now tell me they are NOT. The Voltage regulator on the UNO had a bad solder joint that I fixed myself yup warranty out the window  The young girl assistant in the shop did not seem to have much knowledge and almost sold me a Rasbery PI display to fit the UNO. Had I not noticed it said PI on there I would have had a different useless display on my hands.  It seems the RMA process can be very difficult, with C.R. at one stage making a request for copies of personal government issued ID !!! and requesting that I pay shipping both directions !!!  I do hope they take the RMA process and review it at heart as that is the only real gripe I had with them.  Communication is quite good fast responses  They did in the end replace the items sent back to them and for that I upped my rating by one star.  This was my own experience with them and your may not be the same.

Great staff, great service.  I especially like that you can order from adafruit through them and they'll bring it in for the straight conversion price, no bumping it up.  Then you can pick up and save shipping completely.

I've been buying parts here for a hobby project for the past few months and I've not been disappointed they offer parts dedicated for robot prototyping which is hard to find locally in the GTA. I shop in store to get the 2% discount and that way I also avoid all the shipping fees from other robot e-tailers.

I needed replacement batteries for my Motorcycle intercoms. They had a near identical product in stock, the price was excellent and shipping was unbelievably fast!
