Idaho Central Credit Union Nampa Branch

Have been a member with ICCU for many years now and have always been happy with their service that is until I made some changes in my retirement and transferred accounts to another facility (or should I say tried to transfer). I had three accounts to move and all at different times, first one I had to move to a different account at ICCU because they could not hold it open no big deal, however when it was supposed to be moved they didn't send the interest which left the account open and charging me fees for being below the minimum amount. I called and spent half an hour to find out that I had to go to the branch in person.. not easy as I work more than bankers hours. I took time off from work and went into a branch in Boise spent an hour to close the account and refund my money leaving me with a fifty cent check to claim on taxes.. However at the end of the month I found out the account was still open.. another livid phone call finally got the account closed. I called a week prior to the second transfer just to try to avoid any problems. Then the second transfer never happened.. had to make another trip to the bank to find out that ICCU claims they never got a fax.. contacted the other financial institution to verify it got sent and it did.. they sent it again, this time to a specific person.. Finally the money got moved. But now I get a statement with a penalty for not getting the money moved in time. I am ready to switch to another credit union but am doubtful that I wont be put through the wringer on that too..

When I was looking for a car loan a clerk here made it a bad experience. Now I got a loan through another company but my accounts are with iccu. Last week I went in to make a deposit and they gave me a new debit card. Since they did that all my checks are bouncing I can’t use my debit card for anything but gas or it declines and my credit card won’t work at all. I work 12 hour shifts all weekend and there phones are only working for a few hours on the weekend 😅 making it a huge pain in the ass to fix this

They have done more to educate and help me In 1 year's time than all the banks in 20 years combined
