Randomly decided to check out this restaurant and I was not disappointed! The food was outstanding. Exactly what I was looking for after a long stressful day/weekend. Compliments to the chef and staff - they were very friendly and made you feel loved and cared for. Can't wait to go back and try something else!
Just stopped as we drove by and felt like Italian food. It was amazing, and reasonably priced. We were surprised to see so many other types of cuisine on the menu in such a small restaurant.
Just had our first visit to Hungry Jack's and we will be back. We each had different mains, one pasta with seafood, one Greek Salad with grilled chicken and one spaghetti & meatballs and enjoyed them all on the patio. Tried apple pie and a sweet, very creamy tiramisu, too. Both were served warm fyi. The service was quick and very friendly.
The restaurant is family friendly, but most of the dishes did not seem to be from fresh ingredients. The souvlaki platter seemed to be the most authentic, while the pizza seemed to be a frozen crust, and the pasta sauce did not seem to be made in house and could be found with the meatballs also seemed to be from frozen and the lasagna. The Philly cheese steak is also a recommended pass. Great for kids, but with prices similar to neighbouring restaurants, it leaves a bit to be desired.
I want to like this place and I want it to succeed so much, but the menu needs to be paired down and then they can perfect those dishes. The food and drinks are reasonably priced but the quality of the food is disappointing. Find your niche and good luck.
Ordered food delivery and they confirmed the order but it never arrived. I can’t comment on the food but they did call me back and remember everything in my order. A mystery from a snowy night. Will definitely try again.
We were visiting from out of town and looking for a place to eat. This place looked peaceful and had a great menu so we grabbed a table outside. The food and service was excellent! We even got some great tips on how to make our visit to the area even better. We are so glad we picked this place for our first dinner in the area.
Outstanding food- Everything from Samosas, pita, Veal chp, Tortellini. Drinks- unique Polar Bear, Margarita and delicious Service Helen excellent. Parking: Easy parking on side street and St Clair
SOOOOO good. I'm not a burger fan but was craving one real bad, im always walking by this place so got a cheeseburger and fries and was not disappointed. Absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients, the meat was perfectly cooked. Cheese , lettuce, crispy onions just mouthwatering. Bun was soft and tasty. The fries are fresh and not overly oily, cooked to perfection. I think it was the manager or chef ? who took my order, great customer service, very friendly : . I highly recommend this restaurant. How it only has 1 review i dont know. If I wasn't moving back to alberta early in the AM I would have made this my regular takeout spot. Thanks for the great food and service!
This spot was a very pleasant surprise. They were very welcoming, which we appreciated after we had been denied entry into another spot that still demanded QR codes. Hungry Jack's had great food and their wine prices were very reasonable as well. It was a very cosy experience that made us want to stay for dessert. I recommend it.
