Humphrey's Vintage Radio Audio and TV Service

Email from Nick Kirkos : Customer ID 23163 Akai 1050 After 44 years my old Akai receiver needed repair. My mother purchased this for me so I have a sentimental attachment to it plus it still sounds great. After a quick search on the web I found a shop that had expertise with vintage electronics. I was pleased to discover Humphrey’s provided at-home pickup/delivery service. I always hated lugging around my electronics equipment to be repaired. This is a big time and aggravation saver. I’m testing the just repaired receiver on “Classical Gas” by the California Guitar Trio. The unit sounds great. I highly recommend Humphrey’s repair service. Nick Kirkos (Toronto)

Had a great experience with Humphrey's Vintage Radio and TV Service - they picked up my stereo reciever, which had some wear and tear issues with loose connections and oxidized parts after 40 years of use, give it a thorough tune-up and it's sounding good as new. The pick up and drop off from my home made this extremely convenient. Not enough people in this business so would highly recommend them.

WE HAVE FOUND YOUR FIVE STAR REVIEWS ARE FAKE AND SELF MADE. THIS IS A DISHONEST PRACTICE TO FOOL TBE CONSUMER. THEY ALL HAVE ONE USER THAT WAS ONLY TO BE USED TO RATE YOU AND SOUND THE SAME PRETTY MUCH. ALSO USED THE SAME I.P. NUMBER THAT MEANS IT MUST HAVE CAME FROM YOUR SHOP. HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY! Not to be Trusted at all

I got great advice to do some trouble shooting of my own when I rang up in the past hour! My left speaker wasn't working on my Panasonic RX-DT680, so I was asked to switch the wires and that fixed it. I'm not sure if other stores would ask you to see if the customer can do a quick fix, but Humphrey's Audio Repair will!

I was very pleased with the service on both my vintage turntable and receiver. While the cost was a bit higher than I anticipated, Dave was flexible and gave me a final quote to fit my tight-ish budget. The service itself was exceptional, with both my machines never sounding better. You get what you pay for, and you get excellent audio service when you use Humphrey's.
