The owners are very kind and knowledgeable.  Although they tried to get my phone to run properly, at least they got it to get internet.  There was no charge and I also was able to get a much needed charger for a very reasonable price.  I will get my cellphone accessories there from now on.

Came to Techbuy on Tuesday after being turned away from the Apple store in Newmarket.  Early Tuesday morning my iPhone 12 Pro Max completely blacked screened while I was asleep and would not turn back on despite being fully charged and working fine only a few hours prior.  I booked an appointment at the Apple Store in Upper Canada, and the technician there immediately dismissed me after noticing a minor crack in my screen.  I was told my phone was unrepairable and my only options were to purchase the same model phone at $800+tax without warranty or buy a brand new phone all together ~$1500+ depending on which phone I selected.  I left and contacted Techbuy solely to see if they could retrieve the data off my phone as I was still under the impression it was broken for good. Techbuy did a diagnosis of the phone for free and contacted me roughly 1 hour later saying it was a simple fix and would cost me only $200+tax. My phone was ready for pickup the same day 1 hour later and has worked completely fine again upon pickup. No data was lost as well which was a huge relief. The only issue I have now is that after the repair my Face ID doesn't work, however I plan to give them a call to see if they can take a look at this considering it did work prior to my phone black screening. This isn't a big issue for me as I assume they wouldn't have been able to test this in their store without me present to try and unlock the phone with my Face ID. Will update my review after i'm able to speak to them again about this.  Would recommend Techbuy to everyone. 10/10 Experience. And will go to them directly over visiting Apple if I ever experience problems again.

very disappointed in their work. had them replace a backing and cámara glass on my Iphone 11. i got it back with dots in the camera and they had told me it will be an extra $95 to fix it when there were no issues with the visibility of the camera before. and the metal siding of my iphone is all scratched and damaged and told me i brought it in like that! The only thing the guy said he can do for me is take $10. Absolutely disgusting work they did

Awesome service, everyone there was super helpful and I got my phone fixed the same day and slightly discounted when compared to some other places. Would definitely recommend if you need to repair a phone!

Very disappointed.  I was so excited to finally find a place who can fix my IPad Pro 2nd Gen.  After 3 phone calls confirming they can do exactly what I asked, I decided to bring it in. I was asking for 1 part changed that was diagnosed by 2 apple stores & 1 3rd party. All I needed was the “charging port flex” changed. Was given a flat rate price of $120. I get called days later saying they won’t open it up because the screen May break and I will have to pay for it? Why would I pay more money if you break my product.? we decide against changing it because I’m a student and cannot afford to spend $400 on this & all they did was “clean” the port and charged me $84. I paid $84 for a temporary 2 week fix? The specific side of the charger they told me would work does not not a charger issue as I tried MacBook and other apple store iPad chargers. and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.  Thanks a lot. Lost $84 and now am back to no iPad for school.

Purchased a new cell phone at TechBuy yesterday, and was very happy with my experience. I am not much of a techie, so was relieved when Nadeem looked after setting up the new phone and moving my data over. I was there more than an hour, and even when the transfer was completed, he patiently walked me through the functions of the new device, and helped me get comfortable with using it. I would highly recommend Techbuy, and have nothing but good things to say about Nadeem.

I deal with Techbuy for over 15 years. Chand and Omer are 2 guys you really can trust. They are ALWAYS very helpful and know their business well. I bought quite a few computers and Monitors from them and was never disappointed.  I wish them well at their new location and recommend them very highly . Helmut

Went here this summer to replace a cracked screen on my iPad. There was nothing else wrong with it and I would have kept using it if it wasn’t shedding glass.Replacement screen is cheap plastic, gets dirty/smudges easily and is impossible to get clean. Soon after the replacement I started noticing my screen and home button were not as responsive at times. Now have noticed the home button issue more often, sometimes having a hard time getting even the password screen to unlock my iPad let alone fingerprint authentication. I can actually feel and hear the home button wobble. We have other much older iPads and none of them have these home button issues. I wish I had listened to the other reviews that complained of this very same issue. It is initially cheaper to replace the screen than to do an out of warranty replacement at apple but this will in the long run cost me more because of additional repairs to fix the issues they created replacing the screen and it will always be a poorly repaired iPad instead of a brand new replacement iPad like apple gives you.  It looks cheap, feels cheap, and functions worse than it did with the cracked screen. No wonder this place has such a short warranty period. It is not worth it to fix it here in my opinion. I really regret it.

had a great service late afternoon friday, had Jason do a comprehensive diagnose of my laptop, replaced my screen and fully cleaned it. 10/10 great job

They were very helpful and had my phone repaired in a timely manner! And the price they quoted was the price I paid!
