Home Idol? More like Home of NO SERVICE. I went in there with a family member to check on a 7k order that I had placed at the Richmond store. When I asked to speak to a manager the associate pointed at his colleague who then said he wasn't the manager and pointed to the guy next to him saying he was the manager. Needless to say I was very unimpressed by their school boy antics. When I finally found the manager Jason, he told me that I should ask someone else to help and that he doesn't understand why I am asking him for help. I then asked for the number of someone I could contact to help me since Jason did not want to help. He told me he doesn't know the number of his superior nor does he have a number for anyone that can help me. At that point I promptly asked for a refund after being frustrated. Needless to say dealing with home idol in Vancouver is like dealing with monkeys at the zoo. They have no sense of customer service and act like it's a chore to do work. I was disgusted and appalled by how the employees and especially the store manager treat customers that are spending large sums of money. If I were the owner I would terminate every single one of them. There are decent employees out there looking for work. I hope Jason sleeps well at night knowing his poor and unprofessional attitude is killing the business. If you want service stay far away from this place!

I've been purchasing at this place for more than 5 years now. They always gave me extra discount. They probably got the best price in town, but they only provide limited service at the same time. They once told me that it's a trade off for their limited service since they have the lowest pricing around town. I would suggest people who expect good service to go to Home Depot instead, but you would miss some good deals.

These guys don't fool around. You'll get the basic service and the materials with reasonable prices. You just pay, load, and go. Very fast shopping experience, which I like it. -1 star for the basic service.

I have to say that they have the best deals in the lower mainland. Their service is fair enough at this price range. Home Depot is more expensive!

I would give it no stars if I could but google would not let me post without giving any stars. Worst store ever! No customer service! Product is cheap...what you pay is what you get! Bought something on line, paid in full and had it shipped. Received a confirmation email saying order was ready for pick up. Drove 40mins to get there only to find out that they had sold my merchandise to someone else. I understand mistakes can happen but they did not even bother to call me to let me know. And not even a "we apologize for your inconvenience" when I got there. They said " it happens"?!?!?! What does that mean?
