Thanks Manuel tool rental section for your good recommendation;nnI was able to unclog my bathtub drain by using all of the Green Gobbler product $15, instead of renting a wet vacuum $30.nnIn terms of preventative home maintenance,nI will purchase more of Green Gobbler at Home Depot.nnNote:nWith regards to mixing this powdery product, I found that using boiling water, instead of hot tap water, was more effective in unclogging the drain.nFor stubborn clogs, I'd suggest leaving the solution in the drain for at least around eight hours before flushing it, again with boiling water. Repeat this as necessary.
Great experience and great help. This older Asian gentleman working there in the lighting department was extremely helpful with going out of his way to show us the light bulb to use for the outdoor sensor light we were about to buy. We were waiting at checkout and he again went out of his way and came back to tell us the one we got is an older model and that there is a newer model that we should get. I didn't get his name, but wanted to let you guys know about this kind worker. Shout out to the Asian gentlemen in the lighting department for going the extra mile to help my elderly mom and I with the outdoor sensor light.
I recently visited Home Depot to rent a pressure washer and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. Upon my first rental, the equipment was faulty and did not function properly. I returned it and was assured a replacement, though I didn’t have time to wait and agreed to pick it up the following day. I was promised a discount for the inconvenience.nnThe next day, I interacted with a staff member named Susan, and from the outset, she was extremely rude. When I mentioned the promised discount, she abruptly responded, “Well, do you have it in writing?” I explained that I didn’t, to which she curtly replied that she couldn’t apply it. She was dismissive and unhelpful, suggesting I return later in the afternoon when her colleague was available. When I asked what time exactly, she responded with, “I said the afternoon,” without any effort to clarify.nnUnfortunately, the replacement washer also failed to work, and I had to return once again. I finally received a working machine, but before leaving, I confirmed with another employee that I could receive the discount upon returning the item. However, upon returning it, Susan again intervened, interrupting my conversation with another employee multiple times to insist that I could not receive the discount, even though her colleague had already offered a 15% reduction. Throughout all my interactions with her, Susan’s behavior was consistently rude, dismissive, and confrontational.nnAs a regular customer who spends thousands of dollars on rentals each month at Home Depot, I have never encountered such unprofessionalism. Susan’s attitude lacked basic customer service skills and left me questioning whether I should continue doing business with Home Depot. Her behavior was not only unprofessional but also felt discriminatory at times, with her dismissive tone and derogatory comments overshadowing every interaction.nnIn summary, my experience with Susan's customer service was unacceptable, and it is a stark contrast to the otherwise positive experiences I've had at Home Depot
My mom and I originally came for a refund but we ended up going inside to purchase a storage box and we went self checkout for it. The machine started saying “an associate will be right with you,” most likely because the item we were buying was too big to fit on the self checkout table. There was an older lady working the self checkout and she was already helping someone but the machine kept repeating “an associate will be right with you.” The lady working the self checkout said i’ll be right with you, in which I replied, no worries. We were in no rush so we started looking beside us where there was gum and candy on display, but the machine kept repeating the same sentence over and over again. And from the machine shouting that, I believe another employee heard it and comes over to offer their help. We never waved or gestured another employee to come over and help us, that employee came on their own. But the older lady who was originally working the self checkout made a snarky comment after ASSUMING we asked someone else for help since “we apparently couldn’t wait for her.”Which was NOT true at all. Even though the employee said it was okay it was not a trouble at all to help us. But in reply she said, “I told them to wait so I don’t know why they called you down.” This comment that she made was very unnecessary and very rude to say when it wasn’t true at all. We were very kind and patient but another employee came to help after PROBABLY hearing the machine repeat the same sentence over and over again. I should’ve corrected her about what she said since it wasn’t true at all so she doesn’t make these snarky comments towards any other customers. But I decided to leave it as is and I was only able to process what she said after leaving the store. And hopefully this review will make a difference.
