I was looking for something healthier to eat and saw Holy Wiches on a previous visit to another store. I went with the recommendation of the server and ordered the Holy Cow Sandwich. To be honest, I wasn't keen on eating a sandwich for dinner but it looked healthy and appetizing. It did not disappoint! Everything was prepared fresh and the textures were amazing. The sourdough bread was perfectly toasted and the portions were very good. I will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes.
We were at the plaza to get something else for dinner and my husband saw this place beside the one we were gonna buy from and decided to check it out. From the moment he came in until he left the owner was very warm, helpful and just overall nice. He gave us a full sampler of dishes for free, from the lemonade, the appetizer and the main sandwich. The lemonade was great, just the right amount of sourness and sweetness. The appetizer we had was the smashed potatoes and I love it, spicy, garlicky and astringent. The sandwich we got was the holy cow and WOW. It is bursting with flavour, marinated and slow cooked for 4hrs, it has caramelized onions, roasted peppers and mushrooms. It was so moist, I had never had a sandwich like that before. The spices were just great and not overpowering. It’s a new place but I highly recommend it and I’m glad this is right by our house! Will definitely come back for more!
Delicious sandwiches! I ordered the holy cow on sourdough and the smashed potatoes with the lemonade elixir, it was all fantastic!!! I'm so impressed with this place... the sauces they had were all fantastic unique flavours.... and pair really well with the food... I thought the inside decor and menu names were so cute!!! It's such a fun little local small business! And the customer service was great!!! Staff were so friendly and sweet. I will for sure visit this place again. MUST TRY!!!!!!
Such an amazing experience! Delicious food and friendly staff made the experience even better. Best sandwich I've had in a very very long time. I would definitely go there again soon!
We ordered the chickenwich and the holy cow on rye. Loved our sandwiches. Our fave one was holy cow. Only thing I’d do differently next time would be to reduce the extra sauces added in there as the meats were already seasoned very well. Meats were also very juicy so there’s no need to additional sauces. If you’re a slower eater like myself, the sandwich will become soggy if you let it sit there for too long. Make sure to eat there for you to enjoy it fresh! If you’re taking it out, ask for sauce on the side . Don’t be fooled with the photo I took. Sandwiches were bigger in person and super filling! We went for late dinner. We left with stomachs satisfied. I should have taken a better photo but I couldn’t wait any longer to dive in. Staff and owner were very inviting and friendly. Loved the vibe there. We even got complimentary lemonade as a welcome surprise.
Amazing food and service was impeccable. The owner greeted us and fully engaged with us explaining the food and history of the place. Food service was prompt and presented beautifully neat and clean. The food itself was delicious and very unique. Highly recommend the beef. Would definitely be coming back. Said they are going to be opening late night as a lat night night joint.
Pretty good sandwiches. I tried out a Beef Wrap and a Chicken Sandwich and they were pretty good. The sauces are the important part to keep it moist and flavourful. It was overall pretty good. The lemonade was pretty good too! The place was clean and cozy. Recommend you to try it out!
Realllly good sandwiches. Worth the price. Big quantities so consider sharing. The owner is super sweet. Gave us a feee sample of sauces, sandwiches, and potatoe appetizer. They don’t have a sign yet, but they are in between Gladiator Burger and Nani’s Gelato. We liked the chicken more than the beef, but beef is good too.
Very good vegan and healthy food options. I would only advise them to increase portions a little. Otherwise food looks and tastes amazing. Tried the omen plate and smashed potatoes
So the sandwiches are OK. nothing I would want to pay $14 for. Or come back again. If your mom has made qeema or pasanday, you can use the leftover to make a similar sandwich. And you won’t be $14 lighter. Tried it because of the hype. Leaving 4 stars because of the staff who were super friendly and welcoming. Also $4 for that shot of lemonade? No thank you. I’ll pass.
