The Dirty Bird Chicken + Waffles

The Great White North was a great choice off this specialized chicken & waffles menu. The scotch bonnet pepper sauce was cut nicely with the sweet flavour of the waffle and syrup. The sauce wasn't too hot which was nice, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. They may be the Dirty Bird but they sure fry up a clean bird to sit on top of that soft fluffy waffle. 5 stars for brunch.

Guys.. I have no idea what they put in this chicken but it is OUT OF THIS FOCKING WORLD?!?!!? it is so melt in your mouth gooey and soft with the maple syrup and the meat itself is like butter! But crispy at the same time with the spicy jalapeños. UGH! More than a decade on this earth and never tried anything so… good? It’s like luxury junk food. Just so good. Would recommend! Definitely worth another cheat day of mine! And not bad pricing as well!

It’s our first time there and we don’t know what to order. The staffs took the time to explain the menu to us. Loved the service and really appreciate it. We ordered the OCB, sauce is on the side, and we asked for the waffle to be extra crispy. They are very accommodating and the food is excellent. Would definitely come back for more.

I ordered a Great white north meal, and the waffle was quite good but the chicken tenders were far too salty and a bit dry. I shared it with 2 other people, and no one wanted to eat it, and we left half the chicken because the salt just made it taste so bad. It's too bad because I have eaten at the Kensington location before and it was nice, but I'm not sure I would go back to this one.

The portion was HUGE the food was delicious!! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy. The scotch bonnet sauce has a good kick of heat, and the garlic syrup was soooo yummm! Shivani was our server and she was so sweet! She was extremely friendly, and made sure we were all good! She also communicated very well! Such a cutie! Me and my husband shared a full size chicken and waffle plate!

Ordered the Jerk waffle sandwich. It was mediocre, nothing exceptional but am willing to try other menu items on my next visit. Good customer service but cleanliness of the restaurant was at par. Hopefully my second visit it'll be an overall better experience.

Adding an extra star for the good customer service, otherwise you can see in the pictures I attached below how the floor and toilet is “dirty” as well as there is no soap to wash you hands which is absolutely disappointing and unsanitary. The food on the other hand has a unique concept which is instead of serving a chicken sandwich they replace the buns with waffles, I would say that the taste medium at best, I don’t see it as worth the price. However I the “Dirty Fries” fries which I did not like and hated the combination was not good and there was a sharp taste of spice and onion Over all I don’t recommend it that much.

Thumbs up for disposable packaging got for pickup as was finally in the area. Got the tenders with waffles chicken a little hard like the sauces though also got the boneless bites gave a lot the sweet sauce took the cake but there were bits of ends while the macaroni salad was bountiful the fries just don't like that type and the sandwich was more moist they don't cheap on size about $50! July 2022 - Called for special of the day 2 sandwiches jerk and sticky icky with 2 sides and drink $20 plus tax still one of my favourites to eat try not to get addicted

Pros: Great food, friendly staff Cons: - It was a nice surprise coming here. Didnt expect the chicken and waffle to be as good as it was. I definitely wasnt disappointed and wanted to order 2nds. would absolutely eat here again.

I can't believe it took this long for me to try Chicken and Waffles?!? It was amazing, chicken was cooked & seasoned to perfection. I love "The Jerk". I can't see myself eating another chicken "sandwich" give me waffles.
