Be warned if you book here the whirlpool may be cold & that the maintenance of it is questionable. When I pointed out it was cold over two days staff were unaware which indicates inadequate sampling of the water is done even on a busy weekend. Concerning & potentially extremely unhygienic.nTo take samples & tests requires “touching” the water.nAlso if you pay premium price & an advertised feature like a whirlpool is not available not that you may want a dip & it wasn’t closed despite malfunctioning one should get a reasonable compensation but I was offered 500 IHG “reward” points meaning I had to sign up & the points are worth about 3.$ off a 130.$ fee for one night. And only usable on future bookings. Not really any compensation at all.nThe Operations Manager also was rather condescending about my concerns over potential sanitation problems & never followed up with the 500 points anyway.n*Update, I did get the points. More than promised. And I am grateful to the hotel. The staff was kind, breakfast was GREAT…my adult son loved it. The beds were comfy. It was just a really rough time as I was at the hotel because my Dad had died.nI’m upping my rating but still beware the hot tub.
The staff is very friendly and easy to work with. I was travelling with dogs and we had a misunderstanding with rates and the reservation itself. Front desk staff worked with my family to ensure the stay went off without a hitch.nnThe breakfast is a standard continental breakfast you get at any decent hotel now days.nnThe rooms are somewhat dated but overall clean and comfortable.nnI would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.nnIf you are traveling with pets, do yourself a favor and speak directly with the hotel to understand all fees and policies.
Have stayed here several times and always pleased. Front staff ladies always say hello, hotel is VERY clean, rooms are very comfy shower pressure is awe some continental breakfast is solid with both protein and fruit options and location is very close to highway 16 which is nice we arrive from Sask. Several restaurants in the area and as a bonus Costco is just down the road!
I will start with Manish; he was very friendly and helpful. He provided us with all the answers with a smile. The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and we had a good stay. The complimentary breakfast was good, and the area was super organized and clean. We had a good chat with Manish; he's a very nice person
The staff were all really friendly, and check-in/out was a breeze. The free breakfast in the mornings is a nice touch - and they have plenty of options! There were several hot options pancakes, beans, potatoes, turkey & pork sausages, and cheese omelets. And then the standard cereal & milk, yogurts, begals/breads/english muffins, juices, and tea/coffee. We didn't get a chance to use the hot-tub or pool, but it looked clean and spacious. The room was exactly what we needed - roomy for the 2 queen beds, a desk & chair, tv, coffee/tea maker, microwave, and fridge. The bathroom had a large sink counter which is nice for putting your face wash and makeup out etc., and a deep shower/tub combo with accessibility handles for getting in and out. The beds were comfortable, and we had plenty of pillows. And it was really quiet during the evening. We were impressed that we didn't hear any hallway noise. The heat/cooling was easy to control in the room, and instructions were on a plaque on the wall next to it. The only downside is that there wasn't any information on the hotel tv guide/channel listings, breakfast times, pool location/operation times, etc. anywhere in the room. So we had to constantly call down to the front desk to ask, and I felt bad having to do that over & over again. Parking is a lot outside, sadly no underground.
