I had put "always a good play to stay" but that was before the second night. No breakfast, don't refill coffee in your room, only replaced 1 of 4 towels. No microwave in room. There was a fridge! The pool is creepy, no one was in it the 3 days I was there... the Windows from the lobby look into it.. no hot tub from what I saw..
As a diamond member of best western, I wouldn't stay here again, and I stayed for free (used points). There are 4099 other best western hotels to choose from in the world. This one is a hard pass once you walk past the lobby (Very nice lobby)

This Hotel is defiantly not a best western plus. It has been renovated and the front reception does look new. however, don't be deceived by this. the hotels pool is only a cold pool, there is no hot tab at all. kind of a must have when your traveling on business. I stay almost exclusively at best westerns when I travel, but this place gives the network a bad name. my room was discussing. beds look as though they had been slept in, and it had a very musty smell. the bathroom was even worse. there was some kind of black build up in the grout of the tile, and its a old tub from the early 80's. I don't even want to think what this black stuff is. personally I feel that for a best western its needs to have much higher standards. next trip I'm going to stay at the best western in the south.

Excellent service, great customer service. The hotel was very clean, and the management was wonderful. Anything we needed it was provided. The kitchen/bar was great as well. Really friendly waitresses and funny! I would like to thank Joanne, especially for her hospitality. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends/family.

This was not a very enjoyable hotel stay. Once you enter the main lobby everything looks very nice and updated, unfortunately that's where the niceties stop. The rooms have an old vibe going on and a grocery list of problems. To start, our toilet was broken when we arrived with the flush handle falling off each time you try and use it. After a while the whole flushing mechanism just desitegrated. We were in a two double bed room and one of the beds was not supported by anything on one corner which made for a sickly night's sleep. I had to use the ironing board and it too was broken, with no locking mechanism to keep it up I had to lay it on the bed to iron my shirt. There is a noticeable gap to the outside between the AC unit and the wall for all the bugs to get in, luckily we were there in the winter. To top it off the tv did not work. Don't bother with amenities either, the gym is a joke and the pool is a glorified bathtub. Do not stay here.

Worst. Place. Ever. We stayed there one night on our way through Edmonton. The room was dirty, stains on the mattresses and rodent feces in the room. They moved us to another room, which also was dirty. They said they couldn't adjust the rate, but promised a free room. Stayed there again on the way back. Free turned into $72. Requested 2 beds and a couch. No couch. Requested a microwave. No microwave. So many promises that weren't kept. I held off writing a review, giving them a chance to fix things. They just didn't seem to really care. The front desk staff acts like they are sorry, but don't expect them to do anything about your hardships. Housekeeping staff seem kind, but the place reeks of greed and quickly gives that "slumlord" feel. Stay anywhere BUT here.
