Hodu Namu Korean Restaurant

We never saw the restaurant before the renovations, but the interior is really nice! The food was excellent, as well. The portion sizes of the main dishes were a decent size and were supplemented well with the number of side dishes that came with them. I ordered the bulgogi with glass noodles and it was delicious! The meat was prepared well and the noodles were cooked perfectly. If you're a fan of Korean food, you should definitely check this place out!

4.5 Stars!! They have amazing food of you like intestines, e.g. soondae blood sausage. I personally don't like it. However, they have one of the greatest seafood pancake in town. Officially my top 3 Korean restaurants in YYC! The food quality and presentation is excellent. Portion is quite large so I would not recommend to get an appetizer unless you are here with a large group. Compared to other restaurants, chefs here do give lots of meat in your soup and a handful selection of side dishes! Staff were very nice to answer all my questions. Would definitely come again!

Authentic Korean food, warms your heart when it's extremely cold out. If you're just into BBQ and **westernised** Korean food then this might not be your favourite, but if you like the genuine stuff then come here. Also the waiters and chefs are very friendly I recommend the: Seafood Tang

Always nice to eat there!! I brought my friends from Edmonton, and they said it’s good. Except Kimchi soup. It was too sweet for us. I think they tried to make fusion taste for all. Cause usually original kimchi soup is quite spicy. But overall, I satisfied :

We've been to place several times and I've always liked their soondaegook but today's soondae didn't taste too fresh. But their service is always good and I like how they provide individual settings.

Decent size and spicy pork belly on a sizzling hot plate for lunch. Clear beef broth to finish the meal. Excellent for a cold day.

Blood sausage soup and blood soup taste good as one I had in my childhood in Korea!!

Food looked really good. But the pork potato soup and clam soup noodles were both bland. Given the great reviews here I had high hopes. Maybe I expected too much.

I really like this restaurant. I have tried their bibimbap and their galbi. Everything is so well presented and so delicious.
