Katsu 17

Tried this place for dinner, you can’t eat inside as it’s small space with an order counter. There area a couple of exterior tables and chairs if the weather is right. Had the Spicy Chicken Katsu Burger and fries with spicy mayo. I was pleasantly surprised by how spicy the mayo was. Chicken burger was juicy, better than KFC etc.

A 4.5 - For what it is, it's a simple shop with a simple menu with a straight forward ordering system. The fries are decent and crispy but nothing to write home about. The Katsu burger chicken or pork is well fried in between cheese, slaw and a well balance amount of sauce that you can still taste the meat without losing the crunch. The slaw is probably the best part of it. At $6 each, this beats getting a big Mac or any burger at a fast food joint. Freshly made and definitely a good quick meal or snack to have. A must try when in the area.

Cute small store a very good hidden gem in 17th ave as well. Food taste great and staff is really friendly. No dine ins allowed but there food portion is really good amount. I order don katsu the meat is really juicy and not dry at all. Cant wait to try there other foods. Ill be surely be back

Food portion and quality was amazing. The corndog is really big compared other restaurants and katsu was well cooked and the burger was also good. I will order here again:

They are currently offering a deal for 50% off their Katsu on UBER eats and in store - $5 for your choice of prawn, pork or chicken Katsu with rice and cabbage salad. Deal is on until Aug 7 2021 - That’s a steal!! I ordered via UBER eats and was worried it would be soggy upon arrival. It was not!!! Perfectly crispy and the meat was not dry. I really enjoyed their Katsu sauce as it was not too acidic. Overall I am impressed!

Ordered the spicy chicken burger, corn dog, and sweet and spicy Korean box. Was disappointed at the amount of sweetness in the chicken, there was no spice only a very sweet sauce that gets gross after a few bites. Even the burger was sweet and not spicy which was disappointing. Not worth the money as they only give you rice, one slice of an apple, a tiny brownie, and some coleslaw with the chicken. The corn dogs were good though. From my experience of Korean food, the sweet sauce shouldn’t just taste like plum sauce.

I have been ordering the Chicken Katsu and Don Katsu here for lunch and they have been superb. Absolutely loving the way the meal is packaged that makes you feel like a home-cooked meal. Both the chicken and pork cutlet are crispy and tasty. The smell coming from them will make you crave for more. Highly recommend!

Very good flavor, good portion size, reasonable price. I had the katsu pork and a katsu chicken burger for my companion.

I should've known that 50% off promotion isn't worth of trying! I got pork katsu and chicken katsu, it was literally kids meal portion, nothing like the photos here. The pork katsu was not edible, not tender at all, i couldn't eat more after one bite. If I had to pay $9.99 for the size of Katsu, well, my first and last time visiting here. I was so looking forward to this place and regardless of the promotion, I was gonna visit with my friends but I'm gonna have to look for other katsu place.

I ordered chicken and pork katsu since they had 50% deal. Chicken was okay however pork was not fresh and dry please see the picture and coat was hard as rock, and cold at them same time. I hate to leave only one star for the grand opening store but I have tried the cutlet many times before, it was not chewy or tender, nothing whatsoever. I am sorry for my review but it was not good.
