San Dong Banjeom

Shandong, China influenced Korean food. It's namesake, "San Dong" is a coastal Chinese province located very close to South Korea by sea. Very interesting fusion food!

I have not been to this place for a while and decided to go. While we are sitting waiting for food, two male cooks in the kitchen were talking loud almost screaming.. I noticed their masks are on their chin. It is still a problem even without COVID, talking loud while cooking without protection... that was gross.

It has been and is my most favourite Chinese Korean restaurant in Calgary. Love the udon and the shrimp food. I like trying new things here they are all unique and it never fails me.

It was my favorite Korean Chinese restaurant. But one day, I saw their some young cooks smoking outside and made foods. Even they made foods with their bare hands. I am not sure they washed their hands with soap or not. However ... YUCK!!!!

I’ve been going to this restaurant for years and they are great. Their customer service is very welcoming and their food is good. The price is reasonable too. They are one of the restaurants that make me crave their food.
