I had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Metrotown hotel during a recent trip to Vancouver and I must say, it was truly one of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying at.nnFrom the moment I walked into the lobby, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was as comfortable as possible.nnThe room itself was spacious and well-appointed, with modern furnishings and a stunning view of the city skyline. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I had no trouble falling asleep each night. The bathroom was also immaculate, with luxurious amenities and a spacious shower.nnOne of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's dining options. I enjoyed a delicious meal at the hotel's restaurant, which offered a diverse menu of culinary delights. The breakfast buffet was also a standout, with a wide selection of fresh and delicious options to choose from.nnThe hotel's amenities were also top-notch, with a well-equipped fitness center and a relaxing indoor pool and hot tub. I also appreciated the convenient location of the hotel, with easy access to public transportation and within walking distance of shopping, dining, and entertainment options.nnOverall, my experience at the Hilton Metrotown hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of impeccable service, luxurious accommodations, and convenient location truly set this hotel apart as one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay here.
If you're used to the great value for money at Hilton brand hotels in Asia or The Middle East you'll be very surprised by this place. The hotel and the room feel very dated and old. Location is amazing, the staff is amazing they've been friendly and helpful but value for money isn't that great. However, the city of Vancouver is generally quite pricey compared to other places in the world, so I'm not faulting Hilton here or accusing them of overcharging at all.
First impressions of this hotel is a nice clean lobby area and friendly and helpful check in staff. Although not a load of information provided regarding the facilities and Resturants. Executive lounge was grim a small room on the 18th floor with a few dark wood table and chairs. Evening appetisers was offered but only looked once and decided to avoid for the rest of the stay. Soft drinks in the fridge had limited optionsnLocation in Metrotown Vacounvour about 10 mins walk from the shy train a MRT station and about 20 mining to Waterfront so good connections . However, so rounding area and a local shoping mall have limited dining options. A BC Liqour store in the mall was handy. Just as well as the hotel Resturant was dark and grim not many options and not a pleasant environment to spend time in, we even started going out from breakfast to a local coffee shop.nDecor was very dated and dark room had damage to door and walls. Bathroom was small and dated. In General this hotel need a refurbishmentnStaff very friendly and helpful.nIn summary very dated and old fashioned hotel in reality not worth on more that 3 stars and certainly not worth the price. But is seems average for Vancouver
I recently had a lovely stay at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown. I was treated so kindly during the check in process and was even given an upgraded room. The room was clean, well-decorated, quiet, and very comfortable. I was super impressed with the housekeeping service - it was at such a high standard and I returned every day from work to such a tidy room.
As a Hilton Diamond member, this has been one of the most disappointing Hilton stays I’ve had.nnThe front desk team has been warm and friendly, which I appreciate. However, the service experience at the restaurant has been very inconsistent. Some of the restaurant staff seemed more focused on chatting with larger tables, perhaps because they expected higher tips, while I was left unattended after being seated.nnIt took quite a while before anyone came over to ask whether I wanted coffee, and then a long time again before the coffee was actually served. Also, unlike the previous days, no milk was offered or served with the coffee.nnOverall, this made the breakfast experience feel neglected and far below the standard I would expect from Hilton, especially as a Diamond member.
