First time visiting Burlington and my friends and i stumbled onto this exciting cozy diner. There was already a line up when i arrive about 10am but they were very well organized to register our names and waiting time was about 15 minutes. The diner itself is really cute and you feel the all American vibe. Service was excellent, as it was our first time there, the waitress was very kind to help us around the menu. The food was excellent, portion size was generous and the coffee was 100% excellent to start off on our day trip.
Breakfast is my favorite meal in the road and I love searching out real diners. Henry’s did not disappoint! I got the Hungry Henry and it was exactly what I would expect from a good old fashioned dinner. It wasn’t busy so the food came out quick. The servers were all excellent and I think I chatted it up with every one at some point. I can’t wait to go back!
**AMERICA’S BEST DINER*** This place deserves an 11 out of a scale of 10. Everything here exceeds my expectations. I’ve been to a lot of diners in my day, but this one is definitely one of the best. I highly recommend checking it out!
the food is above average, affordable and the service is fast. a lot of people seemed to get the unlimited coffee so we did as well. place is pretty crowded and there seems to be an expectation that you leave as soon as you’re done eating as there’s a line outside. if you’re looking for a brunch place to chill and have nice, private conversations, you should probably go somewhere else.
The food here was good. The portions was perfect for me. I ordered the "small Henry" and I thought that was alot of food. Loved the hot chocolate.
I suggested giving this diner 5 stars and then my traveling companion also named Henry, incidentally said if you rate a diner that high, people will know you’re a pushover. Hence 4 stars. That said, we found this to be the sine qua non of a classic New England diner. Critically important was a robust cup of coffee though not plentiful refills paired with perfectly cooked eggs, sausage … AND tasty pancakes with VT maple syrup. The decor is charming and warm. And it doesn’t seem as trendy as Penny Cluse and Friendly Toast a good thing in my book.
Loved this place!! The muffin was delicious it was a chocolate carrot cake muffin. Our food was really delicious too; the home fries were okay but we would absolutely come back! The staff is so kind overall!
I absolutely enjoyed this diner for breakfast. The eggs Benedict were well made with the hollandaise sauce tasting perfectly. Everything was made with love and they also have some yummy pumpkin pancakes and apple cider. I would definitely come back here.
I absolutely adore Henry's. The absolute best staff, best food, coziest restaurant. We *always* go whenever my husband and I visit my family, if not make than once while we're there. Y'all are the best, thank you so much for all you do to feed the people!
I’ve done a lot of travelling in my day, been to over half of the country, and this diner is simply the best. Whether I’m in Arizona, Florida, Ohio, etc nothing beats Henry’s. Simply the best food. Vermont has a very good diner scene, but this is the best of them all. Nowhere better in America, period.
