Lovely location near the Winooski River. The old brick mill buildings in the area are gorgeous. There are several outdoor picnic tables and a nice deck so eating outside in the summer is wonderful. The food was excellent quality and there are many options. We had the Avocado Burger, the Crunch Wrap, and the McNuggies and enjoyed our entrees the most. Water is available for free and the wait time for food was about 10 minutes. It's a great experience and even my non-vegan friends and family really enjoyed the food!
Cute place on the Winooski River with an absolutely gorgeous view over the water. All vegan options provide an inclusive menu for those with and without dietary restrictions. Great place to come with a smaller group, as seating is relatively limited. The menu is relatively small and can be a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. The service and the atmosphere cannot be beat. Would absolutely come again and recommend to friends and family. Vegetarian options: All food is vegan, and you wouldn't even be able to tell. Some of the best vegan food I've ever had. Parking: Great amount of spots right outside the restaurant.
I've made it my personal mission to go to every place where Guy Fieri has reviewed vegan food and Pingala has been on the top of my list for a long time. I can honestly say that my expectations were met and then quickly exceeded. The service was efficient, and even with my food being takeout and packed up accordingly, the presentation was fantastic. I ordered a brunch wrap and when I opened up the container I saw that int came with some fruit, which I was not expecting at all and was delighted to see! The flavors of each component worked so well together. It was exactly the comfort food I needed. Along with the brunch wrap I also got a mini chocolate peanut butter cupcake. Everything about it was perfect: the fact that I could get a little something sweet to finish the meal, the frosting wasn't overly sweet, the cake was tender and baked perfectly, it was packed carefully so it could survive transport not that it lasted that long, and the cookie pieces on top tempted me to run inside to grab a full sized one to take home. I'll definitely be stopping in the next time I'm in the area and have already recommended it to friends who are planning to visit soon!
One of the two vegan restaurants in the city and definitely worth a stop. The ambience is really nice as it's in an old mill right on the river. Outdoor seating is just beautiful. As for food, think of typical food truck food or even fast food done well. I loved my crunch wrap supreme.
VEGAN FOOD THAT TASTES GREAT! We went with the loaded nachos and the Guy Fieri recommended Crunchwraps and it was too gooooood! This is the kind of place that makes you feel good about eating right both for your taste buds and the environment.Even as a non-vegan eater, I tell you this place does not disappoint... try it out!
Really good! We got the breakfast crunchwrap, the buffalo mac crunchwrap, the PB&J shake, and a cookie. Good food! The decor and vibes were cool too, and the staff was kind and helpful.Dine in: Yes
Best vegan spot in Burlington! There was no where I would’ve rather gone to satisfy my hiker hunger after finishing the long trail. Never had a carrot “dawg” before but I was pleasantly surprised with the delicious Bahn Mi version. I also got the brunch wrap supreme which was a perfect breakfast fusion of the original crunch wrap. To top things off I took home a few vegan croissants because I hardly ever see them.
First time in Winooski and definitely had to try this little Gem! Thank you for the amazing atmosphere and for the great food and smoothie. Hope to come back soon and visit again Lots of love from a fellow Texan!
Love the cute space and that it’s Guy Fieri approved! Good food, okay milkshakes makes sense, because it’s all vegan! Definitely would go again!
I stopped by for lunch after looking at the menu online. The Crunchwrap Supreme was bursting with layers of flavor and perfectly crispy on the outside! The Macn’ Cheeze was probably the best vegan Mac I’ve ever had!
