We just happened to stop in on our way to our cottage. So glad we did. Delicious food and super friendly staff. And fast service! It's very quaint but actually quite large inside. Even though the parking indicated that we might have a wait, there was still plenty of room inside, so no wait. Had the banquet burger with fries. I don't usually have bacon on my burger because it usually seems to be more fat than meat but the bacon on this burger really added great flavor. We'll definitely be back!

Glad to see Haugen's opened again. Thank you. Missed you. So I don't have to drive to Uxbridge for Swiss Chalet and stand in line and wait for food. Awesome roast chicken. Plus you get a choice of dipping sauces. Fries are home made fresh cut. Local micro brew beers on tap. None of this commercial Bud Light and Coors of Swiss Chalet. And the service. Fast. Courteous. They checked on us three times to make sure everything was OK. And who says you can beat the chains. Even when Swiss sends us half price coupons I will always go to Haugen's. And if there is ever any issue I am sure Haugen's will address it rather than ignore it a la Swiss Chalet !

Excellent food and great service. Only disappointment was they don't serve Raisin Pie anymore. My husband and I loved that pie. We will be going back regardless.
