Hong Xin Restaurant

My family has been enjoying food there for several years now, never had a bad meal. Great, fresh food and friendly, personal service. Highly recommended.

One of my favourite places to eat. Very friendly family run establishment. Our family has a lot of food allergies and they always make special accomidations for us to make sure we are completely satisfied with orders. Thank you Hong Xin!

Ate here a few times and it was nothing great... then part of my family (new to town) ordered a large dinner (close to $200). EVERYTHING was soggy and incredibly flavourless.. refuse to go back.

Have been using this restaurant since it opened for eat in and takeaway. However went in there today and asked for water ahead of ordering and was advised they don't serve water AT ALL. You have to purchase bottled water, or other, which we didn't want due to the pottassium and sugar manufacturers add to their 'pure' water. Also the kitchen staff's children were at a table playing their games so loudly they drowned the tv (set to a Chinese only children's channel). We left before ordering. Definately no longer a customer-focused restaurant, sad to say, as this is the only eat-in Chinese eatery in Port Perry. Will wait for new ownership before returning.
