Harry Rosen Menswear

Been to Harry Rosen many times in the last 5 years. Never had a bad experience, spent way more money than I planned. Service is impeccable. Very impressed with the entire experience.

Harry Rosen to a Canadian should be synonymous with the words luxury and maybe it is if they think you look the part. I came here to browse for a potential gift and I felt I was pulled back to my days of walking into a high end Milan luxury store... and not for a good reason. Given the once over more than once and then ignored subsequently for my entire time I walked the store. Unlike another luxury stalwart, Holt Renfrew, I found Harry Rosen attitude and lack of service disappointing. I expect at least an acknowledgement or a basic hello from one person. When I'm in Holt Renfrew, I am asked if they can help and an even a friendly suggestion regardless of what I'm wearing. Here at Harry Rosen, even with the obvious brand names peering through on hand bags, if they judge you as being 'not a client'... they completely ignore you. The store though is recently renovated to a much bigger spot. With a nice layout and flow, it should make for a better shopping experience. I'd have to say that the layout is easier to see the entire store so you can hone in on the style or brands you want. Ultimately I ended up buying something nice at Saks 5th Avenue and Holt Renfrew instead. With a lacklustre service and judgmental staff, I have to wonder how they're going to try to keep up with all the newer luxury stores entering the Canadian market.

Terrible customer service. Left a suit for repair at this location and specifically pointed out 2 areas that needed patching and they only did one. This already took 3 weeks and I had to leave it for them again another week. They said they would contact me by the end of the week to let me know when it's ready and I received no call. When trying to call them now on Sunday at 11:30AM (they open at 11:00AM), their phone recording said I was calling outside of work hours. EDIT: I spoke to a manager when I finally picked up my pants and he apologized and said that this situation shouldn't have happened. I appreciate his efforts.

Great service with Magda. Very professional and helpful every time. Management is also great. I had a polo that shrunk in the cold wash and it was replaced by Harry Rosen which shows a lot of brand loyalty. They back the product that they sell.
